Cold Arctic air returns with strong and gusty northwest winds.Northwest winds with frequent gusts of 70 to 80 km/h will occur today in the wake of a sharp arctic cold front that blasted across the region last night.These winds are strong enough to cause Isolated power outages.Winds will slowly diminish this evening.

We have a chance for flurries everyday- Today, Wednesday and Thursday with night time lows diving into negative territory- Spring so far has been well below seasonal norms.

flashback 2012: James Lovelock’s climate change U-turn

The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time … it (the temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising - carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that …The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago. That led to some alarmist books – mine included – because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened …The climate is doing its usual tricks. There’s nothing much really happening yet. We were supposed to be halfway toward a frying world now.

 And we're not halfway to frying or even a quarter way to frying.

I've documented years of cooling here already. Years of worrying about getting my garden in. Years of higher heating costs. None of which is consistent with warming. Arctic winds tell tales of cold. Not warmth.

But reality hasn't stopped the Greeda Thunberg PR machine and the schools from teaching belief instead of the reality we are living in.
