The Supreme Council of the Libyan Tribes and Cities Denounce Kangaroo Appeals Court Findings

TweetThe below statement was published by the Supreme Council of the Libyan Tribes and cities. This is in response to the unjust findings of the kangaroo appeal court in Tripoli to assassinate 45 young Libyan soldiers who were fighting for their country in 2011 and have spent the last 8 years illegally imprisoned. This is in regards to my last article titled "Tripoli, 2011 Lies Used by UN Puppet Government to Kill Innocent Libyans".
Published by Afrigate News: https://www.afrigatenews.net/article/%D9%87%D9%83%D8%B0%D8%A7-%D8%B9%D9%...
This is how the Supreme Tribes commented on the provisions of Tripoli's appeal
"The Supreme Council of the Libyan Tribes and Cities called on the Higher Judicial Council to intervene in what it described as "unfair judgments" issued recently by the Tripoli appeals court against a number of prisoners
who have been detained for more than eight years on charges of carrying out their work and military duty during the events of February 2011.
The Council expressed its regret and condemnation of the issuance of these sentences at a time when the Libyans await the glimmer of national reconciliation and to turn the page of the past and release all the prisoners
who were arrested on political grounds, pointing out that these provisions came To strike out the amnesty law issued by the House of Representatives.
The Council also called on the members of the House of Representatives to assume their responsibilities before the people and implement the laws issued by them, and the Ministries of Justice in the Government of the
Accord and the interim government to intervene to stop these unjust provisions, which do not serve the interest of the country.
The Council called on all Libyan tribes and cities to move to lift the injustice of their children who have been imprisoned in the dark for more than eight years without guilt, appealing to the elders and dignitaries of the
Eastern Region who have played a role in bringing out the amnesty law.."
