First... It is that time of year again, and I have come down with a wicked cold over the last few days... I am presently pumping myself up with Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and have been taking Oil of Oregano tablets to fight this off... It has been knocking me for a real loop, and I have been slow in getting anything written here at this blog... Patience everyone, for this could not have happened at a worse time with the world going to heck...A real travesty happened yesterday of course with the downing of that Russian Su24M combat aircraft over SYRIAN airspace.... The Turkish air force apparently is to blame for this act of aggression, with evidence showing that it was a Turkish F16 fighter aircraft firing an air to air missile that hit the aircraft causing the plane to crash, but not before both pilots were able to eject.... That was a travesty alone, but supposedly the "rebels" on the ground fired upon the parachuting pilots killing at least one, and then they had the audacity to use one of their American supplied TOW missiles to attack a Russian helicopter that was attempting to rescue the downed pilots.. Those actions by the fraud "terrorists" in northern Syria were indeed war crimes.....I have been searching for the real answers as to WHY the Turks would do such an action.... Honestly are the Turks that insane that they would risk a war against the Russian Federation? It does seem to me that someone did give the Turks the green light to go ahead and take shots at Russian air craft flying over Syria, and from the following article from Stephen Lendman, through the Global Research website, at www.globalresearch.ca, it appears that Washington DC itself did indeed give the Turks the go ahead... Here is that article, entitled: "Turkey Did Not Act On Its Own. Was Washington Complicit In Downing Russia's Aircraft?" for everyone to see for themselves, and I do have my usual thoughts and comments to follow:
Turkey Did Not Act on Its Own. Was Washington Complicit in Downing Russia’s Aircraft?
By Stephen LendmanGlobal Research, November 24, 2015 Both countries are NATO allies, united against Assad, wanting him toppled, actively complicit in supporting and using ISIS, as well as other terrorist groups as proxy foot soldiers in the war Obama launched in March 2011.It’s inconceivable Turkey acted on its own, independent of US-dominated NATO. Its action is a major geopolitical incident – a premeditated act of war against Russia in Syrian airspace.Ankara claiming the aircraft entered Turkish airspace, ignoring multiple warnings, has the distinct aroma of a bald-faced lied to cover up a hostile act.Erdogan’s recklessness ruptured Turkish/Russian relations, at least for the time being. Sergey Lavrov cancelled his scheduled Wednesday trip to Istanbul, saying “(a) decision has been made to cancel the meeting at the level of Russian and Turkish foreign ministers…”He urged Russian citizens avoid visiting Turkey, leaving themselves vulnerable to terrorism, adding:
“It’s necessary to emphasize that the terror threats with their roots in Turkey have been aggravated. And that’s true even if we don’t take into account what happened today. We estimate the threats to be no less than in Egypt.”
Russia’s state tourism agency Rostourism recommended suspending tour package sales to Turkey. Moscow-based Natalie tours already did so.Putin minced no words blasting Erdogan, saying “(t)his incident stands out against the usual fight against terrorism.”“Our troops are fighting heroically against terrorists, risking their lives. But the loss we suffered today came from a stab in the back delivered by accomplices of the terrorists.” He warned of grave consequence for Russian/Turkish relations.A Turkish Lockheed-Martin produced F-16 warplane willfully and without provocation downed Russia’s aircraft posing no threat to Ankara’s national security, Putin explained. He’s well aware of Erdogan’s complicity with terrorists Russia is combating in Syria – at the request of its government, its actions entirely legal and heroic against a common scourge.“IS has big money, hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars, from selling (stolen Syrian) oil. In addition they are protected by the military of an entire nation,” Putin stressed – leaving no doubt he means Turkey, well aware of Washington using ISIS and other takfiri terrorists as proxy foot soldiers against Assad’s legitimate government.“One can understand why they are acting so boldly and blatantly,” said Putin. “Why they kill people in such atrocious ways. Why they commit terrorist acts across the world, including in the heart of Europe.”Recalling Russia’s ambassador may come next. Expect Putin to react appropriately to what happened. It’s too serious to ignore or smooth over through normal diplomatic channels between both nations.Putin explained Ankara didn’t contact Russia after what happened, instead outrageously called an emergency late afternoon Tuesday NATO meeting – apparently wanting the Alliance to serve the interests of ISIS, he added. Its actions won’t be tolerated, he stressed.Washington backed Turkey’s absurd claim about issuing “10 warnings” before downing Russia’s aircraft. Was it directly complicit with what happened? It bears repeating. It’s inconceivable Turkey acted alone without permission or direct complicity with NATO’s highest authority. America provides 75% of its budget. It calls the shots – deciding whether, when, where and how to act or react.Erdogan’s action was reckless. Obama is playing with fire if his involvement with what happened is determined. Putin won’t let it pass without appropriate actions in response, already begun. An official protest was lodged with Turkey military attache. A Russian Defense Ministry statement said “(w)e are considering actions of the Turkish air forces as an unfriendly act.”Moscow’s anti-terrorist campaign in Syria will continue as planned, maybe intensified further after what happened – Turkey now clearly and openly an adversary in the war on terrorism, risking direct confrontation with Russia.Stephen Lendman lives in Chicago. The original source of this article is Global Research Copyright © Stephen Lendman, Global Research, 2015NTS Notes: Many people have asked me the last few days my opinion about why the Turks would do such a thing and aggravate the Russian Bear.... I would say that definitely the US Government is behind this and there are a multitude of reasons for risking world war III....The US is a failed economy.. There should be absolutely no doubt any more in anyone's minds that what we are seeing is a "train wreck in slow motion" in regards to the economic collapse of America... The US government is therefore absolutely insane in searching for a solution to save their very necks from the very mess that they created when the economy collapses.. .Therefore the think tanks in America are looking at a new world war as a means of driving the US economy and avoiding a collapse.... It is indeed a fact that throughout history, major economic implosions and depressions were "cured" by wars... The real insanity is of course the fact that a world war with Russia could mean nuclear exchanges and the end of America itself... But honestly, the lunatics that run the asylum do not care just as long as the war prevents the disaster that they themselves are responsible for! Then we have the lunacy of the "Greater Israel" project where the insane Israeli leadership is still pushing the concept of an Israel from the Nile to Euphrates rivers... The problem is that Syria stands right smack dab in the middle of that concept and therefore Syria has to be destroyed for the lunacy of Israeli expansion.... And yes, the criminal Jewish elite that run our governments will indeed push their fraud "war on terror" just to reach this despicable goal... They care not for the Gentiles that stand in their way, just as long as their dream of Israeli hegemony over the entire Middle East is achieved...One good thing that has come about in this latest debacle is that Russia is doing the right thing in not pushing any military action against Turkey directly... They are indeed moving even more heavy weapons into Syria and from now on are guarding their attack planes and helicopters with Russian fighter jets... I doubt if the criminals behind NATO will attempt (at least for the next while) any more attacks on Russian aircraft for fear that it will result in immediate retaliation....It will indeed be interesting to see what happens over the next few days and how Russia does respond... I will do my best as usual at trying to bring any further reports here for all to see for themselves.. Stay tuned...More to comeNTS
