DAMASCUS, SYRIA – Over the weekend, and as MintPress predicted last Tuesday, the controversial Western government-funded “humanitarian” group, the Syrian Civil Defense — popularly known as the White Helmets — were evacuated from southern Syria as the Syrian government continues to gain ground in its offensive throughout the country’s southwest.

Former Ambassador to Syria 2003 – 2006, Peter Ford responded to a UK Government statement by Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt on the “exceptional” Israeli evacuation of the UK/US Coalition intelligence construct, the White Helmets:

Overnight Saturday Israel evacuated 800 White Helmets members and their families from southern Syria in an operation that took them briefly into Israeli territory and then on to Jordan, where they are expected to be resettled in Britain, Canada, and Germany, according to officials in Amman.

The controversial White Helmets who have been involved in staged "gas attacks" in Syria that were used as a pretext for attacking Assad, are fleeing the country and will reportedly move to Western countries.  Their exodus coincides with Trump's talks with Putin where it appears that they both promised Israel they would contain Iran's influence in Syria.  [...]
