Last year we warned DC and West Virginia Democrats not to trust crooked Trump-like billionaire Jim Justice when he ran for governor as a Democrat.
After special counsel Robert Mueller invoked the nuclear option to call in a grand jury, to try and find an impeachable crime in the Trump presidency, POTUS Trump went to his base in West Virginia to mock the Russia witch-hunt, asking the massive crowd in attendance if ‘they’d seen any Russians in West Virginia lately.’
President Trump said during his speech (courtesy The Gateway Pundit)…
Donald Trump spoke to a packed crowd in Huntington, West Virginia on Thursday, delivering one of his most fiery speeches since his campaign days.
It continued Trump’s strategy of taking his message directly to the people, bypassing the traditional mass media, which is overwhelmingly hostile.
The U.S. President openly mocked the ongoing “Russiagate” obsession of the mainstream media and his opponents in the deep state apparatus, to the delight of the audience:
Sure, they can't all be this good-- but we should aim high... especially in primariesFor Democrats like Elizabeth Warren, Ro Khanna, Jamie Raskin, Alan Grayson, Pramila Jayapal, Barbara Lee, Ted Lieu, Randy Bryce and, of course, Bernie, the Democratic Party is, first and foremost, a vehicle for making the country a better place. She didn’t campaign there and she didn’t have a message for West Virginia’s working families that might lead them to believe life might improve for them if they voted for her. Today you hear some people-- who identify themselves as “progressives”-- saying that West Virginia’s poor deserve Medicaid cuts because the state voted so overwhelmingly for Trump. Take that you awful resident of a state that backed Trump.
Fareed Zakaria had GOP establishment NY Times columnist David Brooks on his CNN show Sunday to talk about Señor Trumpanzee’s role within the conservative movement. I don’t know who watches Zakaria’s show-- no one I know-- but I bet there was a lot of teeth gnashing from Republicans when Zakaria opened the segment by setting up a comparison between Saint Ronnie and Trumpanzee. “Where does conservatism go from here?
