BEIRUT  — Rolling around 200 Marines backed with howitzers into northern Syria, the United States is shifting from working quietly behind the scenes in Syria’s conflict, turning instead toward overt displays of U.S. force in an attempt to shape the fight.

 PAWNEE, OKLAHOMA– For the last several years, something strange has been going on in Oklahoma. While the occurrence of earthquakes in the state usually hovers between one to three quakes annually, Oklahoma is now averaging one to three significant earthquakes per day.

NEW YORK– Palestinians from the Gaza Strip have criticized an Israeli report on the country’s 2014 military operation against the besieged coastal enclave. The report was released by Israeli state comptroller Yosef Shapira on Tuesday.
