Ted Cruz

Lindsey Graham May Hate Rand Paul, But The Whole Media Establishment Hates Ted Cruz

The real housewives of Falls ChurchRand Paul already has trackers following him around. One is connected to Jeb Bush's non-campaign and one is a Democrat. And there appear to be a couple of others who show up every few days in various places and video everything Paul says. More annoying than any oppo-tracker, however, is the ole bloodhound that's stalking the campaign.

Ted Cruz Wants To Be The First President Of The U.S. Who Is Not A Natural Born Citizen

Although Ted Cruz's father is a deranged fascist and extremist, it would be simplistic to dismiss the Texas senator as just another scion of a right-wing family displaced by the Cuban Revolution. In fact, when Cruz talks about his dad having fought in the Cuban Revolution and having been jailed and tortured, he is certainly implying that his father was a victim of Castro and the socialist revolutionaries.

Not Too Late For Ted Cruz To Win The Republican Nomination?

Last year I was certain that Ted Cruz's ruthlessness and willingness to pander to the most extreme factions of the neo-fascist right would trump the big money Establishment Republicans who, at the time, were lining up behind Jeb Bush and Chris Christie. Christie is no longer a factor, Bush hasn't caught fire and Cruz could still pull it off-- but right now the front-runner has got to be ridiculous Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Would The Republicans Really Run Presidential Candidates Who Aren't Natural Born Citizens?

The right-wing activists who vote in the CPAC saw poll-- there were around 3,000 of them this year-- included enough libertarian and Paul family fan boys to give Rand Paul the win (again). He came away with 25.7%. No one is especially impressed-- and no one thinks it means much of anything in terms of the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. Second place was more interesting-- Koch puppet and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker came in with 21.4%.

Don't Ever Accuse Ted Cruz Of Being Worthless-- He Upended The Whole NRA Strategy To Prevent Vivek Murthy's Confirmation

Roy Blunt voted against confirming Vivek Murthy today. There was never any chance whatsoever that he would vote for confirmation. Obama nominated Murthy to be surgeon general just over a year and a month ago. The NRA , who have made the nomination into a cause célèbre-- flipped out and the senators they control decided to obstruct the confirmation process-- although after he had made it through the Senate Health Committee hearings last February.

Right Wing Strategy: "Making Themselves Look Good To The Heritage Action/Purity-For-Profit Crowd"

Ted Cruz has a vision: President Ted Cruz, the first U.S. President born in another country. From a family of Cuban fascists who found Texas compatible with their authoritarian ideology, Cruz is eager to implement a plan to force Obama to rescind his executive action delaying the deportation of Hispanic and Asian immigrants whose children are U.S. citizens.
