After months of passing the necessary legislation and making the requisite threats, Poland has begun demolishing war memorials to the Soviet Army which have stood in Poland since 1945.
Poland has not negotiated the matter with Russia, nor have Polish authorities even appeared interested in inter-state dialogue about a deeply serious issue in the context of wider world history and historical memory.
The Polish Sejm (Parliament) has just passed a law ordering the destruction of Soviet war memorials throughout Poland.
The Soviet Army liberated Poland after years of brutal Nazi occupation beginning in 1939. This is a fact of history seemingly lost on modern Polish politicians. Soviet war memorials appear in many countries where the Red Army helped to liberate occupied lands from the fascist aggressors. They stand as a tribute to the 27 million Soviet citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice in the war against Hitler’s wicked ideology.
A man who claims to be 128 years of age has publicly outed himself as Adolf Hitler.
The man who now calls himself Herman Guntherberg claims that he fled to Argentina after 1945 used fake documents.

Judging from the mainstream media reports in the UK, the area around the location of a massive fire which gutted Grenfell Tower, a large apartment tower in west London, is something of a war zone, a place where anger and bitterness is ready to burst open into displays of violence.
As it is with so much else to do with the msm, this was not the case.
The area was not only calm but in some ways was eerily silent. On every wall and lamppost were signs with photos of missing people, most sadly presumed dead.
In two days, on the 9th of May, Russians throughout the world and others who commemorate the defeat of fascism in 1945 will celebrate Victory Day.
However, Victory Day has been effectively banned in Ukraine, a former Soviet Republic that once celebrated on the 9th of May along with Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Serbia and others.

In recent years, Russian cities and increasingly, cities around the globe have held a march of The Immortal Regiment on the 9th of May.
The Immortal Regiment consists of people of all ages carrying photos of loved ones and comrades who fought in, died in and in some cases lived through the Great Patriotic War, as the Second World War is called in Russia.
It is a sombre and deeply moving event as no one in Russia and for that matter hardly any Russians anywhere in the world were not related to someone or knew someone who was in the war.
