In a press release from the Office of the Press Secretary, it was revealed today that acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, was relieved of duty after instructing Department of Justice lawyers not to defend Trump’s executive order on travel bans. The Press Secretary release noted that Yates “betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States.”
