Trump Boasts That He ‘Saved’ Mohammed bin Salman After the Khashoggi Murder

The president reportedly bragged to Bob Woodward about shielding Mohammed bin Salman from the backlash over the murder of Jamal Khashoggi that the crown prince had ordered:

“I saved his ass,” Trump had said amid the US outcry following Khashoggi’s murder, the book says. “I was able to get Congress to leave him alone. I was able to get them to stop.”

Since the very onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic, economists and the media have been warning the public about the damaging effects that quarantine would and is having on the financial world. The yearly “growth” that we would normally expect was negative for many nations, especially in the West. However, the most interesting tale of economic survival in 2020 would have to be Saudi Arabia. Tehran slams as ‘baseless’ UN report of Iran’s arms shipments to Yemen

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has slammed as “baseless” a report published by the United Nation’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) alleging Tehran has been sending arms to war-torn Yemen.
“Placing Iran’s name next to those supplying weapons to the Saudi coalition against Yemen is completely wrong,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement on Thursday.
