A day after Hannity told his viewers that he would be backing off the Seth Rich murder case after speaking with Rich’s family, Hannity hinted at a Set Rich – Wikileaks connection during his opening monologue last night.
Though Hannity did not specifically name Rich as the source of the DNC leaks, this is the statement that Hannity made during a monologue which focused on debunking the Russiagate fake news story concocted by Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and Robby Mook…

It is now becoming boringly predictable, but Obama’s CIA’s chief John Brennan is just the latest in a seemingly unending series of US officials who is unable to cite any evidence of any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
In evidence to the Senate Intelligence Committee Brennan said “I don’t know that such collusion existed”.
This admission is important since by general agreement Brennan and the CIA were the branch of the US intelligence community who were most aggressive in arguing the case for Russian meddling in the US election.

CNN has published a rather odd report in which it says that former FBI Director Comey “now believes” that Donald Trump tried to influence the Russiagate inquiry, but that he clearly does not think this amounted to an obstruction of justice

Over the last few hours the Western media has filled with stories of how during their recent meeting in the Oval Office US President Donald Trump supposedly told Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov that former FBI Director James Comey was a “nut job”, which was why he dismissed him.
The story, which first appeared in the New York Times, is very specific

Sergey Lavrov has said that a New York Times story claiming that Donald Trump said that he fired James Comey because he was a ‘nut job’ and had impeded good relations with Russia is fake.
When asked to confirm the story which White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has not denied, Lavrov said,

“We did not touch on that topic (of Comey) at all”.

According to yet another leak from the Trump White House, The New York Times has published further details of the conversation Donald Trump had with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak.
According to the New York Times, Trump said,

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job”.

Trump allegedly continued,

“I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.
I’m not under investigation”.

Further evidence that Rod Rosenstein’s decision to appoint Special Counsel to supervise the Russiagate investigation is intended at least in part to take the heat out of the affair has been provided by a private briefing Rosenstein has given to the Senate about his decision, of which the New York Times has provided a detailed account.

Robert Mueller’s appointment as Special Counsel to supervise the Russiagate investigation has led to a state bordering on euphoria on the part of the Democrats and the mainstream media.
It is understandable why.  The Democrats have been calling for the appointment of a Special Counsel and President Trump – very unwisely – has been resisting them.  Though President Trump appeared in his statement yesterday to welcome the decision, in tweets today he has made clear his continued resentment about it

The US political and media establishment has rejected and even ridiculed President Putin’s offer to Congress of the transcripts of the meeting in the Oval Office between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US President Donald Trump.
The prevailing response to the offer is that it was not intended seriously.  The tone was set by BBC journalist who speaking on British television claimed that in making the offer Putin was having, and was just trolling the US, and that there is “no possibility” of the US accepting a transcript written on “Kremlin notepaper”.

Donald Trump  has taken to social media to express his frustrations over the continued Russiagate fiasco thatcontinues to dominate US headlines.
