The January 11, 2018 meeting with several US Senators has been reported in many media outlets, including our own for the reported swearing and profanity the President used in the meeting.  However, the real matter is what the meeting is about is quite important, and it is important to understand the direction the US President wishes to take on immigration policy going forward.

Media goes berserk over Trump’s ‘sh*thole’ comment

US President Trump created a DC media firestorm on Thursday, when he reportedly questioned the policy of the United States regarding bring people in from war-torn and very poor Third World nations, with very strong, and profane language.
“Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” the president reportedly barked during an Oval Office sitdown meeting that was attended by several members of Congress. Two people, unnamed, but claiming familiarity with the matter, reported this to the Washington Post.
It’s not like he hasn’t had precedent:

As we head into a pivotal mid-term election year, it is clear the Democratic Party establishment has not learned a key lesson from the 2016 election.
