Tuesday morning I woke up at 4am. It was still dark so I reached for the channel changer and switched the TV on.

Hillary's campaign team has been relentless-- even ruthless-- in getting endorsements (and commitments from Super-Delegates). One relatively high-up party official, currently running for office, told me his neutral stance turned into a Hillary endorsement and commitment because of the ceaseless barrage of annoying calls... and implicit threats. Another told me his decision to stay neutral had turned into an endorsement of Bernie when he got sick of the pressure.

Establishment Democrats seem upset that Bernie has turned out to be more than just a nuisance vanity candidate, quite a lot more. His popularity and rising poll numbers have certainly been forcing their candidate to take stands on issues she would have rather not talked about-- from Keystone XL Pipeline to the disastrous trade agreement she was complicit in negotiating, the TPP, and which she has now been forced to disown.

Two rats: Kevin McCarthy and Chuck SchumerElizabeth Warren's clarion calls-- three on the Senate floor this week-- may have been derided by South Carolina closet queen Lindsay Graham (R) as "immature" and "emotional," but they were having their intended effect on their intended audience (which was not South Carolina closet queens on the other side of the aisle).

Wednesday afternoon, the DCCC was asking people to sign petitions against "Boehner's" Wall Street giveaway in the omnibus appropriations bill. They carefully neglected to mention that the most vile provisions are being pushed by, among others, the Finance Chair of the DCCC, Wall Street shill Jim Himes (New Dem-CT) and by most of the Blue Dogs and New Dems left in Congress-- including the ones who were defeated and are just hanging around the lame duck looking for K Street jobs.

By this morning, progressives started signaling that they're not getting on board with the two corrupt Beltway party establishments' intention of using the last minute/must pass omnibus appropriations bill-- to keep the government open-- as an excuse for some especially ugly legislation they could otherwise not pass.

Recovered from losing race after race around the country, all the Ready for Hillary operatives came together at Le Souk in New York last week to celebrate their own and their candidate's fabulousness.
