The "ex"-Republican is running as a Democrat and pretending to take progressive-- or progressivish-- policy positions.
The new PPP survey released yesterday, asked respondents if they would vote for various Democrats or Trump in 2020. All the Democrats-- even corporate shill Cory Booker-- beats Trump:
In 2006, the Republicans greeted the midterms as a spent force. George W. Bush was historically unpopular-- bogged down in an unpopular war and-- along with congressional Republicans-- an unending parade of scandals. Democrats defeated 22 GOP incumbents and won 8 open seats that had been held by Republicans who retired. And, for the first time since the GOP was founded, Republicans didn't beat a single Democrat or win a single open Democratic seat.

The first in the nation primary should have been a warning for Clinton; Bernie cleaned her clock-- 152,193 (60.14%) to 95,355 (37.68%). New Hampshire Democrats were infuriated when Wasserman Schultz's delegate-rigging system awarded that massive Bernie victory just 16 delegates to Hillary's 15.
But they don't look like bigots-- Stephanie Murphy and Val DemingsFor the better part of the last decade, we've spent a lot of time exposing the Republican wing of the Democratic Party for what it is-- primarily reactionaries, corporate shills and self-serving corrupt careerists. This would basically include just about all the Blue Dogs and New Dems in Congress-- and then some.
It was impossible to log on to DWT yesterday without knowing that woke iron worker and union activist Randy Bryce had announced his candidacy to bring new representation to southeast Wisconsin and oust the radical Republican Speaker of the House from Congress. The Democrats now have the ideal candidate to run against Paul Ryan. If you know anything of the history of the DCCC and this district, you’ll know they will not just do nothing to help, they are likely to work behind the curtains at their regular sabotage.
At a meeting of Democratic thought leaders earlier in the week, Elizabeth Warren posed a rhetorical question "Do you get the feeling that if Bernie Madoff weren’t in prison he’d be in charge of the SEC right now?" I wonder if New Dem chairman and former Goldman-Sachs banker Jim Himes was in the room, though I doubt it, since he spends so much of his spare time shuffling from fundraiser to fundraiser.
