Fake news and its significance in US – Russia relations – Part II

In part I of this series we looked at the advent of “fake news” as a distinctly understood entity. In particular we looked at how the fake news narrative went largely unchallenged in America about all things – both inside the country and outside – for decades, despite the advent of conservative talk radio and internet news sites like our own.

Putin’s State of the Nation, Part VII – Healthcare

Healthcare is a major hot-button issue in the United States, most particularly among the socialist-minded and liberal ideologues in the country. They have often gone on record decrying the United States’ refusal to grant free healthcare as a right to all citizens, and often the best-looking models of socialist western nations, such as Sweden, are brought to represent examples of such systems working.

President Trump schools liberals with National Emergency declaration

President Trump signed a continuing resolution to keep the US government fully running through the rest of the 2019 fiscal year. The CR contained a $1.374 bn allocation for US border security, and that money includes and pays for the completion of some fifty-five miles of border fence (or wall, or barrier, or “not-a-wall” depending on one’s preferential phrasing.) He also declared a National Emergency, theoretically freeing at least another $8 bn for the continued construction of the border wall.

Mainstream media predicts ouster of Trump – or is it just a fantasy list?

One of The Hill.com’s Opinion contributors, John Leboutillier, gave a 30-point list of predictions for 2019, many of them centered around the continued Irritant-in-Chief (as far as Mr. Leboutillier is concerned, apparently) President Donald Trump. To see the predictions, one would be led to believe that doom is imminent for the career of the American President.
There are some problems with the list of predictions.
