The people that write and publish the news are among the most powerful people on earth.
Does this sound like an extreme claim? It might because of the expressed level of cynicism about events and stories that are printed or broadcast in various news media. When I ask my friends and colleagues, they often respond with the blanket statement that “all the news media are lying anyway.”
But then…

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson gave a news brief saying that a USA Today / Suffolk University poll taken between February 20 and 24, 2018 reveals that on the list of priority concerns to Americans, the matter of Russia, particularly the matter of any election “interference” or “collusion” with the campaign now-president Donald Trump, is about as low as it can be. Democrat hypocrisy appears to have been stopped cold by President Trump in the run-up to their releasing their own “memo” intended to rebut and play down the claims about inappropriate and illegally gained FISA warrants based on an unverified document by a former MI6 agent who was hired to do opposition research for the Clinton campaign. The President refused to allow the Democrat memo to be released in its current form.

TASS news agency reported that talks between North and South Korea began Tuesday morning in Panmunjom, and ran for 11 hours. The main topic for this round of discussions centered on real and practical steps to improve relations between the South and North, with the possibility of the North Korean team participating in the 2018 Winter Olympics to be held in PyeoungChang.
Each country sent a delegation of at least five people, with Unification Minister Cho Mroung-gyon for the South, and Ri Son Gwon of the North.
