The leader of the Ukrainian regime, Petro Poroshenko was originally scheduled to address the UN General assembly this afternoon. He was supposed to speak immediately after Rwandan President Paul Kagame. However, unlike every other leader thus far, he did not turn up to the podium of the UN General Assembly.
Instead, the proceedings moved on without Poroshenko with all other heads of state and government speaking in the original order of the General Assembly agenda.
Yesterday, the Duran reported that Mikhail Saakashvili successfully entered Ukraine after he and his entourage literally pushed and shoved their way past border guards who were intent on keeping him out.
Now that he is in western Ukraine where he has been greeted by a group of visibly enthusiastic supporters, something unusual has happened. For the first time in many years, Mikhail Saakashvili is finding himself in a position of potential popularity.
PRZEMYSL, September 10 (Sputnik) – Former Georgian President and ex-Governor of Ukraine’s Odessa Region Mikheil Saakashvili said on Sunday that he had changed his strategy for returning to Ukraine by train and turned to his initial plan to enter the country by car via the Krakowiec checkpoint on Ukraine-Poland border.
At a televised opening of a defense exhibition in central Kiev, Poroshenko stated:
We are now starting the armed technical modernization program of the army, we must bring our weapons to the level of the 21st century.
KIEV, (Sputnik) – The press service of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirmed on Saturday information about his meeting with US Defense Secretary James Mattis on August 24.
On Friday, Pentagon spokesman Eric Pahon told Sputnik that Mattis would visit Ukraine on August 24 and hold meetings with Poroshenko and Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.
“On August 24, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will hold talks with US Defense Secretary James Mattis, who will visit Kiev on the occasion of the Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations,” the press service said.
Corruption has become so serious in the Kiev regime that its Finance Minister is being investigated for tax evasion over many years. Oleksandr Danylyuk, Finance Minister since April 2016, was placed under investigation by prosecutors at the end of July and he also has close ties to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

KIEV (Sputnik) – “The State Border Guard Service has a decree issued by the Ukrainian President and relevant instructions from the State Migration Service of Ukraine. In accordance with this, the Border Guard Service officers have to confiscate Saakashvili’s passport or any other passport detected in the database during passport control and [listed as] invalid,” Servatiuk told reporters.
