NY Appeals Court overturned a New York City law that would have allowed 800,000 'Dreamers' to vote in municipal elections. The law aimed to create a class of “municipal voters” consisting of noncitizens who live in NY City, but the court's ruling thwarted the city's efforts to expand its voting base in local races.

In addition to NYC receiving new migrants, it was reported that migrants who already received 'free' housing and have been evicted can get more benefits, “Because this is a sanctuary city, housing is guaranteed — so if they wait in line, they can re-apply and be re-housed.”

The MTA voted to approve 'congestion pricing', a tax that will charge vehicles for entering a large swath of Manhattan in the central business district. Passenger vehicles would be charged $15, trucks would be charged up to $36 depending on size, and motorcycles would be charged $7.50.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, a vegan, announced the city will "reduce absolute carbon emissions from food purchases across its city agencies by 33% by 2030" to curb phony global warming. Mayor Adams challenged corporate, institutional, and nonprofit sector leaders to "join us by cutting their food emissions by 25%."

NYC's death toll in the first Covid wave was unusually high. Many blame the ventilator panic. However, new analysis shows that ventilators cannot be held responsible for more than a fifth of the deaths that spring.

The court stated that the Mayor’s Executive Order granting vaccine exemptions to certain groups of people, including performers and athletes, was arbitrary and capricious. The court also stated, "being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting Covid-19."

A New York Supreme Court judge on Monday struck down New York City’s vaccine mandate, finding the rule to be unconstitutional, arbitrary and capricious – the latest judicial blow against the pandemic tyranny.
