A dispassionate case for the American border wall

One of the hottest news stories in the American press has been that over the border wall, proposed by President Trump during his campaign, and now resting at the center of a debate that has about one-quarter of the US governmental services in a state of shutdown. This debate goes on in the news media, and many of the Americans who watch and listen to this take on the fire of these arguments to even more passionate levels.

Pelosi and Schumer Responded to Trump’s Oval Office Speech by Imploring Him to Stop the Government Shutdown

President Trump digs in on the border wall; Pelosi plays in the sun

On December 21st, a partial federal shutdown began, openly owned by President Trump. The reaction from many Americans, including those affected by the shutdown, is very supportive of this action. YOU’RE FIRED! With Jeff Sessions out, Trump’s war on Deep State begins (Video)

Trump wasted no time after the midterm elections to warn Democrats (ready to take over the House) that should they drag the country back towards Russia collusion hoaxes, tax return fantasies, or impeachment procedures, that this time the office of the President, along with a strengthened Senate, would strike back at Democrat leadership.
First order of business for Trump, fire Jeff Sessions and appoint as acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.

Trump is king of GOP, Pelosi pulls House win, Progressives suffer setback

So much for a blue wave. Of all the three possible election result scenarios, Trump made midterm history, with a good overall Republican showing, by adding key seats to the GOP Senate majority, winning key Governor races, and losing the House in a moderate fashion.
According to the Gateway Pundit, thanks to President Trump Republicans picked up 4 new Senate seats on Tuesday with wins in Florida, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakata.
