Mainstream Media

The war between competing western establishments

The mainstream media and their deep state allies on both sides of the Atlantic are in full panic mode.
They are losing credibility, they are losing their grip with reality and they are losing their audience. However, they still wield a great deal of power due to their handsomely funded infrastructure and their historic alliances with the political elite.

Now that Trump’s In Office, Media Suddenly Concerned with US Military Killing Civilians

8-year old American-Yemeni girl killed by American raid in Yemen.
For the last eight years, Peace Prize recipient and ostensible savior of the free world, Barack Obama, rained down hell from the sky on brown people across the Middle East. Obama far exceeded his predecessor, George W. Bush, in the use of drone strikes, killing more civilians than ever before and aiding in the creation and growth of worldwide terror.

Why does Erdogan get a pass from western MSM and Duterte does not?

In the early years of Erdogan’s rule,  when many still fancifully thought that Turkey would join the EU, there was a versatile refrain from European apologists for Erdogan’s dictatorial ways that went like this:
–He may be a strong man, but the economy is growing.
–I don’t personally agree with his cracking down on press freedoms but real wages have risen under Erdogan.
–He is a danger to constitutionality but he has a broad base of support.
–Yes, he is a kind of political Islamist but he speaks for his supporters.

What you need to know from Donald Trump’s news conference

Donald Trump just gave his first post-election press conference. Speaking for approximately an hour, it was far short of President Vladimir Putin’s five hour end-of-year marathons, but the entertainment was non-stop.
Trump’s humour has almost certainly helped him cope with his ill-treatment at the hands of the fake stream media. Far from being a foreign agent, he seems to love his country and more importantly, love his countrymen. He seems to genuinely sympathise with the concerns of ordinary people. As President he will engage with them, not with the media and corporate elite.
