The great thing about Internet archives is that they leave a data trail for anyone who wants to follow it. And while news and opinion revolves around attempt after attempt to implicate President Donald Trump for some sort of collusion or treasonous activity with President Vladimir Putin of Russia, everyone in the mainstream press (this includes Fox News) has taken advantage of – or ignored – history. The advantage taken of history is that many people remember precious little about it, especially in our times, it seems.

While on the interview Megyn tried again to press Mr. Putin on what are supposed to look like “tough questions.” President Putin wasn’t having it. In his usual manner, the Russian leader put the whole framework of “election meddling” into the simple question of “where is the evidence?

Fox News cherry picks a poll and gets it quite wrong

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson gave a news brief saying that a USA Today / Suffolk University poll taken between February 20 and 24, 2018 reveals that on the list of priority concerns to Americans, the matter of Russia, particularly the matter of any election “interference” or “collusion” with the campaign now-president Donald Trump, is about as low as it can be.
