Inciting a Riot

The media, led by the New York Times and the Washington Post, neglected to inform in their early reports that Bryant threatened two other teens with a knife. NBC News deceptively edited the 911 call removing the attempted stabbing, and NBC stopped the video right before it's apparent the teen is holding a knife.

Police Chief Angela Greene said, “Several individuals conspired and organized to destroy the monument and to summon hundreds of people to join in the felonious acts, which not only resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to the monument but also permanent injury to an individual.”
