CONFIRMED: Russia to remain in Syria until terrorism completely eliminated

The Head of Russian forces in Syria, Colonel General  Sergei Surovikin has confirmed Russia’s full commitment to fulfilling its anti-terrorist mission in Syria while speaking at the Army-2017 Forum near Moscow.
Surovikin stated,

“The operation to destroy the militants of the ISIS and Jabhat Nusra terrorist groups in Syria will continue until their complete elimination”.

CONFIRMED: Central Syria almost fully liberated–terrorists to make final stand in Deir ez-Zor

News from the Russian General Staff has come in indicating that all of central Syria is on the verge of full liberation from terrorist occupation.
The news came in with early reports stating that Aleppo Governorate is now fully liberated from al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups.

CONFIRMED: 7 ceasefire violations in Syria over past 24 hours – Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – “Within the past 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 7 cases of firing in provinces of Aleppo (3), Damascus (3) and Latakia (1). The Turkish party has registered 6 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Damascus (4) and Hama (2),” the Ministry said in a daily bulletin.
According to the Ministry, most cases of non selective firing from small arms were registered in the areas controlled by the terrorists of the Islamic State and Nusra Front (both outlawed in Russia).

Russia successfully cuts off escape route of ISIS fighters fleeing Palmyra

The Russian Defence Ministry has released a statement commenting on the strategic rationale for recent successful Kalibr cruise missile strikes on ISIS fighters and vehicles outside of Palmyra.
The statement explained that Raqqa’s effective encirclement by the Kurdish dominated SDF forces in addition to US and western European forces had been partly breached when the SDF allowed for an opening around Raqqa which has allowed for an escape route that ISIS attempted to exploit.
