As the dust clears from the Grenfell Tower inferno, residents are beginning to tell their personal stories – some of them are truly shocking.
The death toll from the Grenfell Tower fire in West London continues to rise, as authorities are now indicating the number of residents burned alive may be at least 60 now, as more bodies were found in the stairwells of the high rise. This is not including some of the top floor flats which have yet to be forensically investigated.
Apparently, Prime Minister Theresa May did try to meet with residents, victims and community leaders, but the visit came to an abrupt end as angry protests chased the prime minister’s car as May made a hasty escape from an irate mob.

The deeply unpopular UK Prime Minister Theresa May has faced heavy criticism for refusing to speak with displaced people and angry locals at the scene of the blaze which police are now investigating as a criminal act.
By contrast, opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn who may well become Prime Minister sooner than many had predicted, spent time talking with and comforting people.

The week saw one of the worst urban disasters in recent history, as runaway fires consumed a low-income high-rise council estate in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea. So far, police have confirmed 17 dead and have indicated that they expect to find many more fatalities.
Multiple casualties have been reported after high-rise housing for the poor is gutted by flame near central London. Such incidents have become increasingly typical as the once powerful regime of British leader Theresa May refuses to step aside amid growing calls from opposition leaders for peaceful regime change.
The Kensington region in Britain’s capital, is known for a vast disparity in wealth which has galvanised local rebels who support the opposition.
