USA-North Korea: US Experts Offer Strategies
Continuing the topic of the American reaction to the development of North Korea’s Nuclear and Missile Programme, it can be noted that the expert opinions on “what to do and who is to blame” are quite different. Different camps encourage (or disapprove) different versions of the American response on the basis of a very similar set of input data.

Although the act is mainly highlighted in the context of a possible cooling of relations between the US and Saudi Arabia, this story is also connected with yet another attempt to return North Korea to the list of countries supporting terrorism.
Flooding in North Korea and South Korea’s reaction
In late August-early September 2016, the north-eastern regions of North Korea suffered from floods caused by typhoon Lion Rock and heavy rains. From August 29 to September 2, the level of precipitation in the North Hamgyong Province ranged from 290 to 320 mm, which then caused the Tumen River to burst its banks. This flood is said to be the worst in the territory of the DPRK in the last 70 years.
