California Man Shot Multiple Times by Cop While Attempting to Prove “There’s Good Officers in the World”

Trying to prove that cops are good people, a California man stepped out of his car during a traffic stop wielding a loaded rifle, apparently believing it would lead to a kumbaya moment with the officers.
A Bakersfield cop ended up shooting him multiple times.
Now Jose Vaca remains incarcerated on a $400,000 bond, charged with 11 criminal counts.
What the hell was he thinking?
The 29-year-old man said he was conversing with a friend a few months ago about police brutality where she was saying that all cops are bad and he was saying that not all cops are bad.

California DA Prosecuting Man for DUI, Even Though He Only Tested Positive for Caffeine (Updated)

Despite only testing positive for caffeine, a California prosecutor is pursuing DUI charges against a man arrested during a traffic stop last year.
Solano County District Attorney Krishna Abrams admits it will be a “very difficult challenge” to convict the man. Especially considering she has absolutely no evidence.
But since when did lack of evidence ever stop a prosecutor from moving forward with an unlawful arrest?

Missouri Cop Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison for Abusing Boy Will Serve Only 60 Days

A Missouri cop was handed a promotion in March 2015, less than a month after losing his temper and throwing a four-year-old boy against the wall, slamming his head into a cabinet.
Leadwood Police Sergeant Jay R. Bellis also admitted to pulling the boy’s ears, causing them to bleed, because the boy had misbehaved at daycare.
Bellis’ promotion was short-lived, however, as he was arrested on felony child endangerment charges three weeks later, which led to his resignation.

WATCH: Texas Cop Shoots Man in Back, Falsely Claiming his Life was in Danger

It was a hot summer night in July and Texas cops were looking for two shirtless black men who had just committed a robbery when they came across a shirtless black man two blocks away, shooting him in the back and leaving him paralyzed.
David Collie was not the man they were looking for, but the Fort Worth police officer shot him anyway, claiming Collie had turned toward them with an object in his hand, making them fear for their lives.
The object, they claimed in their reports, was a box cutter, which they say was found 10 feet from Collie after he was shot.

California Cops Detain Man for Taking Photos, Claiming They are Investigating Burglaries

A man who was taking photos in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant ended up detained by cops demanding his identification, telling him they were investigating burglaries in the area.
It is not clear how they took the leap from questioning a man for taking photos in public to investigating burglaries, but “burglaries in the area” is an old standby excuse frequently used by police to detain and harass innocent people, even if there have not been a rash of burglaries.

Federal Court Rules Cops can Shoot your Dog for Barking

A federal court ruled that cops can shoot and kill your dog if it merely barks at them, something they have been doing routinely for years now anyway.
The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the decision of a lower court last week, siding with Michigan cops who shot and killed two dogs during a drug raid after they entered the home with a battering ram, according to the Huffington Post.

Ohio Cop Not Charged After 2-Year-Old Son Fatally Shoots Himself in Head With Department-Issued Gun

An Ohio cop has not been charged with a crime after his two-year-old son somehow got a hold of his department-issued gun and fatally shot himself in the head Thursday morning.
Cleveland police have identified the cop as Jose “Tony” Pedro, a 54-year-old cop on the force since 1993, but have not stated how the shooting occurred.
They are calling it an “accidental shooting” instead of an act of negligence by having left the gun within reach of the toddler.
