It is certain that releasing young criminals without bail will cause an increase in crime. De Blasio's new policies went into effect on June 1st.

Twenty violent crimes and serious drug crimes are included in the program that include trafficking in cocaine and methamphetamine, strangling a spouse or intimate partner, street-gang felonies, assault with intent to commit rape or sexual abuse, and similar crimes.

Backers of this 'bail reform movement' include George Soros and Black Lives Matter, whose goal is to reduce the chances of imprisonment for their members and agents.
