Classism

Why are There Coats of Arms for Nobles and Nothing for Us?

It all may have started with the idea of the long arm of the lawmaker employing minions to implement order to discipline groups into respecting leadership that could enforce strong ties to a narrative that served a ruling elite. Yes, the monologue that was, and the dialogue that wasn’t produced strange outcomes that special Tuesday in November. The existing status quo came a cropper when the instincts of a large section of the electorate were employed to buck the system.

Civilization in Transition: Uncertainty and Opportunity

British filmmaker Adam Curtis recently released his new documentary HyperNormalisation. Brilliant in parts, this ambitious film reveals an image of a civilisation in turmoil. It shows how duplicitous, inadequate politicians have repeatedly deceived the public over the last forty years, and how their actions have caused increasing levels of chaos in the world, which they are unable to resolve.

And the women were, ‘No, you don’t understand, he had mental illness, he was broken, he lost his wife.’ They were much more understanding toward him. I just stood back and thought, look at this.”

There is Never a 12th Step in the Program Called Consumerism

Sixty days. A year. Five years. A week. A day. An hour. Right now.
That’s the curse of addiction, those needles, inhalants, the entire barbarity of cheap booze shilled by the chosen ones, the money changers, all amortized and bundled debts in trans-capital, sold next to the playground, the trees cut down for billboards pronouncing sexual prowess and football hero-dom with the flick of the Mike’s Hard Cider or a fucking Bud.
