Glyphosate Found in 100% of California Wines Tested

Before you pop open a bottle of California Merlot, there is something you should know: trace amounts of glyphosate, the primary toxic chemical found in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, have been found in 100% of California wines tested by the national GMO awareness group, Moms Against Monsanto.
The news comes on the heels of a report finding 14 brands of beers tested positive for the likely carcinogen in Germany.

Some Cases of Corona Extra Beer Recalled Due to Glass Particles

If you’re among the millions of Americans enjoying this early heatwave, or you just like to polish off your dinner with a cold brewsky, you should reach for an ice cold bottle of something other than Corona Extra. Select bottles of the beer have been recalled after it was discovered that some of them may contain small glass particles.
Corona’s parent company, Constellation Brands, issued a voluntary recall of select 12-packs and 18-packs on Thursday. No injuries have been reported, and the company says the recall only affects about 1 in every 5,000 bottles of beer.
