One of the most right-wing House Democrats, Patrick Murphy-- a "former" Republican with a very rich and very crooked Republican pappy who pays for his campaigns-- is running against Alan on behalf of Wall Street. The banksters have given Murphy more money than any other candidate for Senate who isn't already in the Senate-- a lot more.

Now that Democrats loudly and overwhelmingly oppose the TPP, Hillary claims that what she once called "the gold standard" of trade agreements is something that she too opposes. Once again, she's rushing to get to the head of a parade that started long ago-- and way after the bloodiest battles were fought.

Friday night I went down to CBS to watch Alan Grayson on Bill Maher's HBO Show, Real Time. Maher asked Grayson about the law suit he's promised to bring if Cruz wins the Republicasn nomination and Grayson, one of Congress' most astute legal minds, explained it in detail. Unfortunately a crazy right-wing, foul-mouthed, helmet-head backer of Cruz, Liz-something-or-other, kept interrupting and refused to pay attention to the facts of the matter beyond her own limited and insular experiences.

And they have done just that.

Isn't it time to end the anti-democratic practice of gerrymandering? No, it's actually past time-- way past time. In 2012, for example, 59,645,531 Americans (48.8%) voted for Democrats running for Congress and 58,228,253 (47.6%) voted for Republicans. In a mathematically perfect world, the Democrats would have 213 seats and the Republicans would have 207 seats. That would have been a reflection of the popular will.
