Beto has lost a lot of momentum since he decided to run for president instead of taking on John Cornyn for the Texas Senate seat. Even some guy named Andrew Yang is polling better than he is. When Beto joined the presidential race, his fresh face gave him a startling 8.5 in the polls. Since then, though, Domocrats have reconsidered and his average polling number is now 2.8, seventh.

The 3 Stooges by Nancy OhanianMark Sanford (SC), Joe Walsh (IL) and William Weld (MA) don't have anything in common except that they are Republicans who hate Trump and are "running" for the Republican nomination against him.

Even before Biden showed how incoherent and unfit he is during yesterday's debate, Michael Hudson, University of Missouri in Kansas City economics professor and author of And forgive them their debts: Lending, Foreclosure and Redemption from Bronze Age Finance to the Jubilee Year, published a call to abolish the DNC and break up the Democratic Party.

I wonder how many people will tune into today's Democratic primary debate to see what kind of gaffes-- and lies-- come out of Biden's mouth... and whether his facelift droops or a part part falls off him. Yesterday, as people were getting ready, the Franklin Pierce-Boston Herald poll came out with some especially bad new for old Status Quo Joe.

Biden liked to cultivate an Uncle Joe image that he's largely given up on because of all the fondling of his young "nieces." And he's so senile and out of it that "Grandpa Joe" is far more appropriate now anyway. I'm not commenting on his age-- just his condition. And Biden's condition-- mental deterioration is what Fox and Hate Talk Radio focus on nonstop.

About 3 weeks ago, former South Carolina governor and congressman announced he would probably be announcing a primary challenge to Trump. A practiced liar and career-long phony-- kind of a southern, more genteel version of Trump-- Sanford made a concerted attempt to sound authentic and accessible in his campaign video: "You can track me down at 843-737-1888..." I called and spoke with his secretary for 10 minutes. She said she's have him call me back.

Mike Siegel, the progressive candidate running for the Austin-to-Houston area corridor seat (TX-10) shakily occupied by Trump enabler Michael McCaul, put the above video together as part of his campaign to bring Texans along on the Green New Deal. It's worth listening and watching.
