I was supposed to have dinner with a friend at Nerano, a small, low-key, out-of-the-way restaurant in Beverley Hills tonight. But we cancelled the reservation and moved our destination to a Turkish restaurant, Kismet, on the East Side instead. Our goal wasn't about cuisine-- although Kismet is amazing, especially the marinated feta-- but to get as far away from the Trumpanzee Circus on the West Side. I've been a Biden watcher since the 1970s and, although my disdain for him has ebbed and flowed, my opinion of him has never gotten as high as "tolerable"-- and most of the time it was far lower. He has never been someone I would have ever considered voting for-- and still isn't. The lesser of two evils is still evil... and Joe Biden is not some minor evil, not by a long shot.

Howard Schultz is a billionaire who hates Trump and who thinks-- or formerly thought-- that those two conditions entitle him to be president. His campaign was a stinker from day one-- although he managed to make a whole bunch of greedy political operatives much richer in the process.

I live in California where Trump lost to Hillary in a massive landslide in 2016. She beat him 8,753,788 (61.73%) to 4,483,810 (31.62%)... without my vote. I'm not into lesser-of-two evils voting. I don't want to vote for evil... not even lesser evil. And in California, it didn't matter. I'd like to think I'd have stuck with that even if I lived in a swing state like Wisconsin or Florida or Pennsylvania.
