He doesn't sit down and shut up when people need help and aren't getting it.Chris Christie wasn't home in New Jersey enough to realize what the victims of Sandy needed. If he cared he would have been there; Jim Keady was.

Trump has certainly been a catalyst for increased voter registration among Hispanics. A national poll of Hispanic voters indicates that Latino voter participation in November is going to break all records and that, overwhelmingly, it's because of animus towards Trump and the Republican Party.

The video just above is one of the best congressional campaign clips I've seen from anyone anywhere. Please watch it. June 7 is going to be another SuperTuesday, a congressional one. California, Iowa and New Jersey have red hot primaries pitting grassroots progressives like Lou Vince, Pat Murphy and Alex Law against establishment hacks like, respectively, Brian Caforio, Monica Vernon and Donald Norcross. South Dakota, New Mexico and Montana have primaries the same day but without the fiery contests.And Law's isn't the only congressional contest that needs to be watched in New Jersey.

The DCCC has a new trick to help their corrupt conservative candidates steal primaries. Although it hasn't been reported in the lazy Beltway media yet, we've been getting reports from around the country that Steve Israel and the DCCC have been counseling their anti-working family candidates to give up on trying to win on ideas, values and policies and to use dirty tricks instead.

Over the weekend Zephyr Teachout, the Blue America backed congressional candidate for the open blue-leaning seat in the Hudson Valley and Catskills (NY-19), made news twice. First came the announcement that, with no cooperation from a hostile DCCC she raised $418,000 in April, primarily from small grassroots donors who find her values-based, issues-oriented campaign appealing.

Not the BeltwayWilliam Ostrander, the congressional candidate in CA-24-- Santa Barbara and San Luis Obsispo-- who has endorsed Bernie and is running on his issues, tends to get left out of the Beltway coverage of the race for open seat created by the retirement of backbencher Lois Capps. Capps and the DCCC picked their candidate, Salud Carbajal, and as far as the media wen, that was the end of the story.

Yesterday we noted an article from In These Times about the non-presidential end of Bernie's political revolution-- the one being fought about on the congressional battleground.

I've never seen as many self-funders running for House seats with million dollar checks from their own accounts as I'm seeing this year. We looked into it a couple weeks ago and I'm sure everyone knows by now that David Trone's $12 million didn't buy him anything but second place.

It was pretty awesome that Democratic primary voters in PA-07 (the suburbs south and southwest of Philly) so thoroughly rejected the DCCC-recruited candidate Tuesday and voted massively for Elizabeth Warren-wing local progressive Mary Ellen Balchunis. Local Delaware County Democrats were as pissed off about DCCC heavy-handed interference as Democrats are all over the country. And in PA-07 they expressed that by voting 51,525 (73.8%) for Balchunis to 18,276 (26.2%) for the DCCC's wealthy handpicked outsider, Bill Golderer.

The race for the redistricted FL-10 Orlando-area congressional district is good news for Democrats. The district is now so blue that incumbent Republican Daniel Webster has fled south and east to a rural, open red seat nearby. The GOP is virtually abandoning FL-10.
