A man in Georgia received a surprise when cops entered his house looking for drugs he didn’t have before he turned on his camera and began to record the illegal invasion.
It turned out, the cops were investigating a crime “at the neighbors’ house” when they stumbled into the man’s living room.
The video was posted on Central Florida Cop Block’s youtube channel, but PINAC was unable to identify the man, although we are still trying.
According to the Youtube Channel, the video began after the officers found themselves inside of the man’s home without asking anyone before they walked in looking for drugs.
At that point, the man is outside complied with questioning as the officers attempted to incriminate him.
As the man stood in his front yard alongside his family, one cop asks, “who all is staying here with y’all?”
And the man begins to explain his relationship with family members and points out who stays where on the property.
At that point the man invites the cop inside and the cop begins to argue with the man about his phone, saying the one he was using to record him wasn’t the one he was previously on.
So, somehow, having two phones is a crime.
The cop then yells, “Listen, check this out? We’ve been doing an investigation on this place right here!”
The man replied, “that’s fine, guess what? I don’t do drugs; I don’t sell drugs. Read this, man. Drug free.”
“I don’t do drugs. I don’t have a criminal history. Me and my wife take pride in the fact that we are drug free. You’re at the wrong person’s house talking about drugs.”
The cop then accuses the man, along with his wife, of being involved in methamphetamine drugs, because his wife’s brother was allegedly known to use drugs.
“I don’t have anything to do with my family,” the woman replied.
“We are here for a drug investigation,” said the cop. “Either you can go along with us, alright . . . do you mind if we search your house?”
“You ain’t searching shit,” the man said. “Do you have a warrant?”
“Bet I can go get one,” snarked the cop.
“Bye.”
The cop took his cue and began to walk out the door.
“Now if you got a problem with those kids, you take it up with those kids, but I’m going to tell you something right now, you don’t got a fucking investigation on me …”
And the cop, already angered about not being able to search his home without a warrant, lost his temper.
“Number one, you’re going to quit fucking cussing at me,” he said.
“You’re at my house,” the man responded.
“I don’t give a fuck if I’m at your house or not, you ain’t going to talk to me like that, you understand me?”
“I think you’re getting too close,” the man said.
“I don’t give a fuck what you think …” the cop yelled, raising his voice as the man tried to deescalate the situation.
“I need you to calm down,” the man said.
As the cop stepped back, continuing his tirade, the other cops with him appeared embarrassed with one of them turning his body around, another one looking down at the ground, none of them appearing to want anything to do with him.
According to a reader tip, we have the name of a man who is allegedly a detective.
But we are going to refrain from posting that name until we can verify the identity of the officer.
And not the name we initially connected, according to the source of the video.
We apologize for the misunderstanding, but also emphasize that we did preface the information being from a questionable source when we prefaced with “according to the Youtube” description.
In any case, we appreciate the feedback. It makes us better at our jobs.
And we thank our readers for helping us clarify the identity of the offending cop was not the one previously reported in this article.
