for drones,
Sandwiches and fruit
to pack
eggs
to boil
chicken fried
interrupted
toil,
kissed the bride.
Joined the family
dancing
singing
hearing not
advancing
ringing
prenubial
projectiles
death now
bringing
voiding vows
At morningtide
the party shattered,
dissipated,
with airborne daggers
decimated
life and liberty
desecrated
artificial suns
beneath which they died.
