Two Bailiffs Dead, One Cop Wounded, in Michigan Courthouse Shooting

Three people, including two bailiffs, were killed today during a shooting on the third floor of a Michigan courthouse.
The third person killed is the shooter, according to initial reports.
A police officer was also shot in the shooting that took place this afternoon at the Berrien County Courthouse.
Details are scarce at this moment but the obvious question is, how did somebody manage to enter the courthouse with a gun considering most courthouses require people to go through metal detectors?
It is not clear if the Berrien County Courthouse has metal detectors but they do make it clear on their website that electronic devices are not allowed, so it is likely they have some sort of security system to prevent cameras, phones or laptops from being smuggled into the courthouse.
We will be updating this as we receive more information.
