Camelford Shadows

Down from Boscastle, Tintagel and Bude…
heading for The Wicker Man at Colliford Lake.
Auras fireworking and clashing brightly
in Church Field Car Park.
As Hedge Witches leave their solitary inclinations,
squirrelled away back in their dreys,
to join the Pagan crowd meeting at The Masons Arms.
The shadows are alive and vibrating softly
as the ‘Colourful Ones’ once more come out to play.
Tailbones, pebble and feather, electric,
eyes which see straight through to a level
far deeper than mere courtesy,
where the ‘Self’ perches unmasked by mood.
Friendly touches and caresses upon hands
are an instant balm to a storm weathered soul.
You only catch that ‘Magical Twinkle’
in someone special’s glance,
by listening instead of talking,
giving attention rather than just taking.
Smiling, laughing and loving hard
with nothing but ‘Well Met’ friendship leading the way.
