"Terrorists assassinated Khaled Kassab al-Masri, head of the reconciliation committee in the province of Daraa, about 100 kilometers south of Damascus. The incident took place in Tafas town, where he was carrying out efforts in cooperation with the parties concerned to settle the legal status of hundreds of people who surrendered their weapons. The local authorities added that in recent days more than 3,000 people has their legal status settled after accepting the national reconciliation process, constantly sabotaged by terrorist groups"
