It has been quite some time, again, since the last time I put up a new health report concerning the dangers of the so called artificially "sweeteners" kwown as Aspartame and Sucralose.... Yes, these two poisons are in almost all of our food these days, and I have placed many articles at this blog discussing and warning everyone of the dangers of ingesting these chemicals......Well, over the last week comes some reports that Pepsico has now decided to remove Aspartame from its "diet" soft drinks and replace it with of all things... Sucralose.... It is appalling that so many people do not realize that they are simply replacing one poison with another under the illusion that Pepsico is doing this move because of the interest of public awareness to the dangers of Aspartame....But according to the following report, from The Rebel website at www.therebel.is, it appears that Pepsico is indeed playing with the ignorance of the American public to the dangers of Sucralose, in what can be coined as a case of "Bait and Switch".....I want to present that article right here in its entirety for everyone to read for themselves, and I do have my own thoughts and comments to follow: Pepsi Plays Bait & Switch: Trades Aspartame for Sucralose

April 27, 2015Coca-Cola will not bow to the Millennial and Generation X demand for soda that does not contain aspartame; but PepsiCo has taken up that challenge.Diet Pepsi will no longer be sweetened with aspartame, according to the company. This move is in response to “customer worries and replacing it with sucralose, another artificial sweetener commonly known as Splenda.”Just on Twitter to , aspartame sentiment, when measured on a scale of 0 to 100, scores 22 which is below Congress’ ranking of 38.These negative perceptions of aspartame is the culprit behind PepsiCo’s decision to replace the questionable chemical with sucralose.Seth Kaufman, vice president of PepsiCo said: “Aspartame is the No. 1 reason consumers are dropping diet soda.”Even after Coca-Cola tried to explain in an advert to their customers that aspartame is safe, the public remained firm. For historical purposes, Aspartame was introduced into the general public’s food supply with the passage of the chemical under guidelines of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 1981.The exact chemical make up of aspartame is obscured by proprietary patents; however the assumption that consuming the chemical is safe, has been an up-hill battle for Serle who originally developed the product which was championed by Donald Rumsfeld, former member of the George W. Bush administration.According to the Aspartame Consumer Safety Network (ACSN) fact sheet , the chemical causes:• Headaches • Nausea • Vertigo • Insomnia • Numbness • blurred vision • blindness and other eye problems • memory loss • slurred speech • depression • personality changes • hyperactivity • stomach disorders • seizures • rashes • anxiety attacks • muscle cramping and joint pain • loss of energy • symptoms mimicking heart attacks • hearing loss and ear ringing • loss or change of tasteAnd sucralose, the replacement for aspartame in PepsiCo products is not much better.Susan Schiffman, adjust professor at North Carolina State University (MCSU), explains that sucralose has a list of adverse effects showing that it is being metabolized by the body despite passing through the GI track undigested. These adverse effects include:• Reducing good gut bacteria • Releases toxins • Alters the body’s insulin responses • Could alter genesIronically, the approval of sucralose is based on research that was performed on rats, and “rats are obviously not humans” as the FDA pointed out ; so by this logic, how can we be sure sucralose is safe when it has not been proven so in humans? Source: Occupy CorporatismNTS Notes: What is not being told about Sucralose is that when the body attempts to digest it in the metabolic Kreb Cycle, the Chlorine that bonds the carbonic chains together is broken off as free radicals...These free Chlorine radicals are released and do serious damage to bodily tissue and especially to brain neurons and tissue...Sucralose has also been linked to liver damage as well as brain damage, mostly again due to its free Chlorine radicals that are released in the body's attempt to metabolize it.....To me this is a serious abomination and a horrific lie being played on the American public... Pepsico is hoping that everyone is too ignorant to the fact that, yes, they are playing a game of bait and switch by switching one poisonous chemical for another poisonous chemical... It is too bad that most people will go along with this game under the assumption that Pepsico is doing what the public demands when it comes to health concerns. The bottom line is that Sucralose is not the answer, and neither is Aspartame.. These chemicals should be avoided at all cost.... More to comeNTS
