Yes, it is indeed "Columbus Day" in America, and Americans strangely still celebrate this day in honour of the man that is still very falsely claimed to be the "discoverer" of America.. Few people still do not understand that all of the Americas were known to the old world long before Columbus set foot on a remote island in the Bahamas Islands group back in 1492.....
