Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Green New Deal’ Would Ban All Gasoline and Coal Electricity Nationwide in 10 Years
The 'Green New Deal' proposes that 100% of power to be generated from renewable sources, which excludes oil, gasoline and coal resources. California has already passed a law to go 100% renewable by 2025, and Ocasio-Cortez proposes moving the target date to 10 years from now.
