An Alabama cop is accused of holding a gun to a man’s head and forcing him to perform oral sex on him during a traffic stop.
The felony sex crime arrest report was released last week, as the 27-year-old officer traded his badge for an orange jump suit.
Investigators said Montgomery cop Deonte Lashawn Hamner was on-duty when he pulled the victim over, then pulled his department issued firearm on the victim and forced him to perform oral sex at gunpoint.
Officer Hamner made “a deal” with the victim, in exchange for not shooting him in the head.
And the victim later contacted the Montgomery police, who then arrested one of their own after conducting an investigation.
The Montgomery Police Department refused to verify if there was even a noise complaint called in, so that implies Officer Hamner may not have received a call at all and was simply abusing his position to prey on the victim, claiming their was a call when there wasn’t.
His southern Alabama police department also refuses to say where the alleged sexual assault took place.
According the arrest report, the incident took place on June 9 between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
But the Montgomery Police Department began an investigating against one of their own after the victim made allegations against Hamner just last Tuesday, according to the email-statement made by Alabama Public Safety Spokeswman Martha Earnhardt.
Hamner, was with the Montgomery Police Department for just over two years, having graduated from the police academy in 2014.
In spite of the current charges against him, Montgomery PD placed Hamner on paid administrative leave.
A paid vacation.
Alabama law defines the Class A charge that could land the deviant cop anywhere between 10-99 years in prison as Sodomy in the first degree:
(a) A person commits the crime of sodomy in the first degree if:
(1) He engages in deviate sexual intercourse with another person by forcible compulsion; or
(2) He engages in deviate sexual intercourse with a person who is incapable of consent by reason of being
physically helpless or mentally incapacitated; or
(3) He, being 16 years old or older, engages in deviate sexual intercourse with a person who is less than
12 years old.
(b) Sodomy in the first degree is a Class A felony.
Montgomery Officer Hammer’s bond was set at $60,000.
