Last night James Thompson, a progressive Democrat ignored-- as progressive Democrats tend to be-- by the DCCC and the rest of the corrupted Democratic DC Establishment, came close to winning a congressional seat in a beet red Kansas district. Had the DCCC helped fund Thompson's race, he would likely have won-- as he did in Sedgwick County, the biggest county in the district. Many Democratic activists are excited because-- with no establishment help at all-- Thompson closed the gap since November from Trump's 27 point win over Hillary to just 7 points.

I have continued to monitor closely the situation in Syria... Just yesterday came this report claiming that the criminal US administration had just released a "damning" report on the "chemical weapons" attack claiming that they had "evidence" that Assad had indeed ordered that attack and that the Russians were helping to cover for the crime committed by the Syrian government! It was so astounding to see the Jew spew media outlets go absolutely hog wild with report after report saying "See... See...
A few hours ago I wrote an article for The Duran which, drawing on reporting by The New York Times, pointed out that the actual effect of the US missile strike on Syria has been to reduce US air operations in Syria as a result of the Russian decision to suspend the hotline between the US and Russian militaries in Syria.

(ANTIMEDIA) Just about all of us have a politician we hate. It might be Donald Trump, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, or anyone else who has tied themselves to the Washington D.C. machine. People’s views are increasingly polarized, and this divisiveness is almost tangible — a scroll through almost any Facebook feed yields rants from women’s marchers and gun enthusiasts.
21st Century Wire says…
Are we already seeing the results of political ignorance?
In the first episode of a new video interview series, Stuart J. Hooper speaks with the University of New Mexico’s Professor Mike Rocca.
Rocca explains how civic ignorance has become an issue in society, and is asked what it means to have politically ignorant leaders holding seats with political power:
Al-Masdar is reporting that Israeli jets have bombed the Falita Barrens in northwest Damascus.
Early reports suggested that Syrian Arab Army positions were targeted.
The Syrian Air Defence has said that SAA troops are not in the area.
Local sources suggest Hezbollah fighters were hit.
Hezbollah and Israel have not yet commented.
If confirmed this would constitute a war crime according to international law.
DETAILS AS THEY EMERGE
They say all is fair in love and war, but Russia and the US not at war. Diplomacy on the other hand, even in tense times is about respect, protocol and dignity. It seems that NBC’s Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrew Mitchell didn’t get the memo.
During the morning briefing with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Mitchell shouted out a question as Lavrov was about to make his opening remarks.
Lavrov, the indelible picture of good humoured dignity did not take it well. He said to Mitchell,
With his firing of missiles into Syria, it took our new President about 76 days to start doing exactly what all the others do. Thinking about the politics of life-and-death questions, such as intervention in Syria, I imagine looking in the eyes of the mother of a person who would die if my preferred course of action be carried through, but who would live if an opposing course of action were carried through.
On Tuesday, the White House released a declassified intelligence report accusing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of ordering and organizing an attack, in which Syrian planes allegedly dropped chemical munitions on civilians in the rebel-held town.
I have just received the very sad news that our good friend and freedom-fighter Will Grigg, has passed away. He was 54.
Will was a long-time activist and writer against war and state power. He had recently co-founded The Libertarian Institute with Jared Labell, Scott Horton, and Sheldon Richman.
Will is survived by his wife Korrin and six children.
Disgruntled Trump supporter, perhaps we could say ex-Trump supporter, Milo Yiannopoulos has posted a picture that is paradoxically cryptic and blatant.

Facebook has been spamming alerting users about how to spot fake news or ‘false news’ as they call it. It’s an insult to most people’s intelligence, but for the sake up absolute clarity, I thought I’d go through each ‘helpful’ tip one step at a time.
Here they are along with my own advice on what it means.
1. Be sceptical of headlines:
False news stories often have catch headlines in all caps with exclamation points. If shocking claims in the headlines sound unbelievable they probably are.
Yes some headlines are very misleading.
Dear friends, Some of you might remember that I have mentioned in the past that I was planning to do a “coming out” of my “anonymity closet” on the 10th
Every cycle I write this damn story. Maybe when Pelosi isn't Democratic Leader appointing her horrible losing DCCC chairs anymore, I'll be able to finally retire it-- maybe. For as far back as I can remember the self-loathing Democrats at the DCCC give potential congressional candidates extra points for serveral things-- being wealthy first and foremost, but being an "ex"-Republican a close second. In 2006.
Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump spoke of NATO being obsolete. He spoke of the organisation as being a disproportionate financial burden on the US and that it was not effective at fighting the real threat of the 21st century; international terrorism.
Now though, Trump has met with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and the US President is apparently convinced otehrwise.
Speaking next to Stoltenberg, Trump said:

Today was the day that the US thought it could break Russia’s partnership with Syria and also with Iran. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer laid out the goals clearly yesterday. It was America’s ‘duty’ to break Russia away from countries like Syria, Iran and allegedly North Korea. It didn’t happen.
First of all, Russia and Syria are close partners. Secondly, North Korea is not a partner of Russia, but nor does Russia want renewed conflict in the Korean peninsula.
