The all too familiar questions of "Why did this happen? Why did this happen to us?" are frequently asked after every mass murder. But each time, it usually goes unanswered, or worse, it's erroneously oversimplified or used as a political platform for gun reform. Rarely do we delve into the deep psychology behind the nature of these horrendous acts.
What is wrong with the American people? After several years of horrific policy toward the waking world, democracy’s standard bearers seem to be drowning in a lake of selfishness. Distracted, apathetic, or simply dumbed and numbed by unrelenting propaganda, the most admired society on Earth has turned to a wriggling mush of diverging ideals. I fear that American have become what we ultimately deplored, just another despicable cultural hegemony. Here’s a short brief on the matter.
There is a great deal of media manipulation in America nowadays and the main target of this manipulation if the Left. A prime example is how Vladimir Putin is portrayed as a ruthless aggressor and the anti-democratic militarist Alexander Hamilton is seen as America’s first progressive and social justice warrior. This is because “image-making” has replaced historical analysis.
It’s painfully obvious how the media has managed to demonize Putin, but how has the media convinced the public, and particularly the Left, that Hamilton was somehow America’s first progressive?
Bryce will be a congressman for ALL people-- even if they wear suitsThere's barely a red district in the country where the Republican incumbent isn't lying about healthcare. Regardless of their multiple votes to nullify protections for people with pre-existing conditions, they all claim the opposite.

NATO military drills, dubbed Trident Juncture 2018, are currently taking place in Norway.
The military war game involves approximately 50,000 troops from 31 countries, 10,000 combat vehicles, 65 ships and 250 aircraft, all of which make up the the largest such exercise hosted by Norway since the 1980s and the largest military drill NATO has held in decades.
Trident Juncture 2018 started last week and will run until November 7.

In October, Putin said that Moscow was ready to discuss the possible US withdrawal from the INF Treaty with Washington’s partners without any “hysteria” and expressed hope that he would be able to touch upon this issue during his meeting with Trump in Paris.
The Putin-Trump meeting in Paris will be brief. The two presidents will have a full-scale meeting at the G20, according to a Kremlin aide.
By John Andrews | Dissident Voice | November 1, 2018 Although white poppies have been around for almost as long as the red ones as a symbol of remembrance a surprisingly large number of people know nothing about what they stand for. To put it in a nutshell, white poppies promote peace, red poppies help […]
If you type “housing crisis” into Google, “2008” is no longer the first result. The subprime mortgage crisis that toppled the global economy just a decade ago has been supplanted on Google Trends by “housing crisis 2018.” This time, the crisis isn’t an overabundance of housing; it’s a chronic housing shortage. But economist Kevin Erdmann argues that the 2018 housing crisis is just the second act of the same tragedy.

(CD) — Declaring not just sympathy but outright admiration for a fascist who has threatened violence against his leftist political opponents, celebrated the use of torture, and promised to give the police free rein to murder at will, U.S. national security adviser John Bolton on Thursday praised Brazil’s newly elected strongman President Jair Bolsonaro as a “like-minded” partner who shares […]
Why is it that so many young women only hear how horrible motherhood is? The answer to this is simple: motherhood is difficult. But what if mothers (and fathers) never looked beyond the difficulty? Would it be possible to go through parenthood with joy and happiness?
New York Times columnist KJ Dell’Antonia believes it is. In her new book, How to Be a Happier Parent, she lays out 10 simple ways parents can go through life choosing happiness.
(ANTIWAR.COM) —With Afghan security forces suffering record casualties, and their already tenuous control slipping all the time, things are looking dire in Afghanistan. But from the Taliban perspective, all these same stats add up to things looking pretty good. The Taliban is getting stronger all the time, and now controls more of Afghanistan than at any time […]
BJP President Amit Shah was in Kannur on October 27. It was to declare war by BJP ruling at the Centre. The war cry is : bhakti vs communist government. In the last few months, we've seen numerous acts of politically motivated or targeted violence. Some of these cases have been plastered all over the news for days or weeks. Some others have been met with deafening silence. And which is which hasn't exactly been random.
Pull on the seat-belt in your gas-guzzling car, folks, and strap in for the worst ride of our lives. This fall, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a critical report warning that humans have about 12 years — until 2030 — before global warming reaches a catastrophic level. The report concludes, frighteningly, that the world can’t allow global[Read More...]

The new Morning Consult poll makes a couple of important points we should bear in mind:
Of course, Bolsonaro is often compared to a tough guy up north. Indeed, he seems to revel in his nickname: “Tropical Trump.” Needless to say, any connection to President Trump is enough to make the American MSM see red.
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen machanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.”[1]

The Universal Postal Union and the International Telecommunications Union survived Adolf Hitler, but not Donald Trump. That is a legacy for which every American should feel nothing but shame and everlasting remorse.
“We must demonstrate that those who have committed the most serious crimes of international concern can have no place to hide. There must be no impunity for the horrendous acts taking place on a daily basis in Syria. There must be justice for the victims. It may take a long time. Sadly, I fear it will take a long time but there must be justice.”
While the chattering classes in the West recoil in horror, and scream ‘fascist!’ in unison, few are able to really grasp how and why Brazil’s stunning election result has come to pass. Just as with the ascendency of Donald Trump and the shock of the BREXIT referendum, Brazilian voters came out in opposition of what they perceived to be The Establishment. Whether they truly got what they intended to have is a matter still to be decided.
Twenty-one trillion dollars. The Pentagon’s own numbers show that it can’t account for $21 trillion. Yes, I mean trillion with a “T.” And this could change everything. But I’ll get back to that in a moment.
Back in 2017, we learned through a report at the Washington Post that Perkins Coie, an international law firm based in Seattle, was directed by both the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign to retain a shady PR firm called Fusion GPS in order to dig up dirt on then presidential candidate Donald Trump.

An entirely separate internet architecture needs to be created – pay services, hosting platforms, social media services – that are not bounds by the whims of the ‘free market,’ which as we have learned is not so free after all.
Last month, Washington issued a threat of sanctions against India if it were to move forward in purchasing the Russian s400 missile defense system.
US President Donald Trump warned India that if it went ahead with the $5 billion deal to purchase S-400 Triumf air defense systems from Moscow, that certain repercussions would soon follow and “India will find out. Won’t they?”

The Istanbul summit was a vindication of Russian policy. The coming together of Turkey, Germany and France with Russia is further vindication. What these four powers must do is insist on Washington abiding by international law and respecting Syria’s sovereignty.
The Long Con: Along with France’s Nicolas Sarközy, British PM Tony Blair was tasked with setting up Libya for the country’s eventual take-down in 2011.
In 2011, led by the UK, France and the US, NATO undertook a concerted plan to decapitate and collapse the state of Libya. This plan was not hatched overnight and took years to prepare. The damage and destruction wrought upon the North African state will be felt for generations to come.
