The glorious War for Liberation in Bangladesh turned powerful with the participation of people – the downtrodden, the exploited. They came from poverty-ruled rural areas; they came from machine shops chained to capital; they came from educational institutions – teachers and students primarily identifying with the aspiration of the exploited. To this huge human spirit, the bell of liberty was[Read More...]
Rahul Gandhi’s minimum income announcement has jolted the government. Even if it is merely a political announcement during the poll season and we will have to see its repercussions as well as how it is implemented but that comes later. The political announcements need to be critiqued either by the politicians or discussed by the economists but what is happening[Read More...]
During most of the RussiaGate investigation against Donald Trump I kept saying that all roads lead to Hillary Clinton. Robert Mueller’s investigation was designed from the beginning to create something out of nothing. It did this admirably.
Among the many challenges India faces, the most underappreciated is the ongoing mental health crisis. Mental illness is actually India’s ticking bomb. An estimated 56 million Indians suffer from depression, and 38 million from anxiety disorders. For those who suffer from mental illness, life can seem like a terrible prison from which there is no hope of escape; they are left forlorn and abandoned,[Read More...]
Terrorism is still a major concern around the world, but global warming is the bigger worry, and fear of cyberattacks is on the rise, according to a new Pew Research Center survey on threats.
America’s alliances reflect the interests of America’s billionaires, and that’s all. America’s military represents them, and that’s all. Today’s America is fundamentally different from FDR’s America.
Employment Service facility in India has a long history. Till 1946, the facility was limited to the mobilization of service personnel and discharged war personnel. It transpires that such extra, non-standard features are a huge money-spinner for the aerospace giant. Some of these extras, including luxury seating or more toilets, are more comfort-oriented. However, many others are directly related to vehicle or passenger safety.

The two-plus year great hoax has come to an end. Trump is not Putin's puppet, as the vast majority of the mainstream media and Democrats have claimed. There was no "collusion" with Russia. So after so much wasted time and money, where do US/Russia relations stand and where should they be heading?
When ruling establishments lose every vestige of decency and confidence in public scrutiny, they turn to appointing nonentities as public figureheads, as the only figures weak enough not to threaten them with any hint of independence.
Financial news seems to have been on everyone's minds this week, as I had more than the usual number of articles passed along about […]

How far will the White House go to re-elect Netanyahu? By Philip Giraldi • Unz Review • March 26, 2019 The situation that is developing around both this year’s Israeli election and next year’s ballot in the United States smacks of something like a developing conspiracy to renew the mandates of both Benjamin Netanyahu and […]

Presently there is a media blitz on across the American news media networks. As was the case with the Russiagate investigation while it was ongoing, the conclusions have merely given rise to a rather unpleasant afterbirth in some ways as all the parties involve pivot their narratives. The conclusion of Russiagate appears to be heavily covered, yet if statistics here at The Duran are any indication, there is a good possibility that the public is absolutely fatigued over this situation.
And, perhaps, folks, that is by design.

(MEMO) — Saudi Arabia denounced US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Israel’s 1981 annexation of the Golan Heights, a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency said early on Tuesday, Reuters reports. “Attempts to impose fait accompli do not change the facts,” the statement said. I am a truth seeker, and I have no fear in getting the real truth out when it becomes available for me to post it up at this blog... And one of the purposes of this blog is to expose the truth about our real history, and not the bullshit that we have been brainwashed by our so called "history books" that are of course nothing but pure propaganda and lies....I have posted several articles over the 11 years that this blog has been in existence in regards to the truth about one of the greatest mass murderers in our history, Jack The Ripper....
The 2020 election will not turn on global issues – and more’s the pity. After all, thanks to decades upon decades of accumulating executive power in an increasingly imperial presidency, it is in foreign affairs that the commander-in-chief possesses near dictatorial power. Conversely, in domestic policy, a hostile Congress can – just ask Barry Obama … Continue reading "Still Waiting: 2020 Fever and the Quest for a Progressive Foreign Policy"
"The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia … to influence the 2016 US presidential campaign." As Justin’s treatment, like the times and cancer itself, evolves he’s a bit out of commission this weekend, so we are taking this opportunity to run a truly classic, prescient Raimondo denunciation of the intelligence state, in particular, the CIA. Way back on December 12, 2016. The CIA is up to its old tricks: overthrowing … Continue reading "Stop the CIA Coup"
One of my friends called the other day and reminded me that I had first met Barack Obama when he was a state senator, soon after I had discovered that he wasn't an Israeli Irishman. He was running for the U.S. Senate and conventional wisdom said he had no chance at all. He was in 4th place in an 8 person race. Some friends and I put on a fundraiser for him here in L.A. where his presentation stunned everyone in the room. I recall that it cost $75 to get in. After he was done speaking, there was not a single flat surface in the house that wasn't taken by someone writing another check.
As I stated in yesterday's rant... I am NOT fooled at all by this latest "shooting" at that mosque in Christchurch New Zealand, and I have again and again presented that "shooting video" for everyone to watch closely for themselves, and not be swayed by the BULLSHIT that this video is somehow "offensive" to watch!
By Tyler Durden – Zero Hedge – 03/25/2019 As we predicted a number of times before, a proxy war between Russia and the United States appears now heating up in Venezuela — this after over the weekend Russia sent a military transport plane filled with Russian troops commanded by First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Land Forces of Russia Gen. Vasily Tonkoshkurov, […]
RT | March 25, 2019 Russia doesn’t interfere in the affairs of other countries and has no intention of doing so, the Kremlin said, dismissing accusations of meddling in US elections, contained in the Mueller report, as groundless. “It’s hard to find a black cat in a dark room, especially if it isn’t there,” the […]
Cory Booker by Nancy OhanianI was never much of a Cory Booker fan. Before he decided to be progressive-- for whatever reason and for however long his commitment turns out to be-- he was an unabashed Wall Street whore, a charter school fanatic and a loony Zionist.
