Brexit = Death of the Technocrats
My political opinions lean more and more to Anarchy (philosophically understood, meaning abolition of control not whiskered men with bombs) … the most improper job of any man, even saints (who at any rate were at least unwilling to take it on), is bossing other men. Not one in a million is fit for it, and least of all those who seek the opportunity.

US and Russia Should Negotiate Over Nukes
In the historic port city of Yalta, located on the Crimean Peninsula, we visited the site where Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin, in February of 1945, concluded negotiations ending World War II.
These leaders and their top advisors were also present at the creation of the United Nations and other instruments of international negotiation and non-military cooperation. Tragically, the creation of the “Cold War” was underway soon after. Reviving tensions between the United States and Russia make it seem as though the Cold War might not have ended. -

Sanders in New York
By Stephen Lendman | June 24, 2016 His so-called “where we go from here speech” fell short, repeating warmed-over themes highlighted throughout his campaign – ones he largely failed to support during 30 years in public office. Study: WHEN You Eat is as Important as WHAT You Eat
The body seems to run like a well-oiled machine when people listen to their internal clocks. For example, the body “prefers” sleeping at night instead of during the day, and working during the day instead of at night.
The same is true when it comes to eating patterns, say researchers. When a person eats may be just as important as when they sleep. -

United States bombings of other countries
By William Blum | American Herald Tribune | June 23, 2016 It is a scandal in contemporary international law, don’t forget, that while “wanton destruction of towns, cities and villages” is a war crime of long standing, the bombing of cities from airplanes goes not only unpunished but virtually unaccused. Air bombardment is state terrorism, […]

Two Women Diagnosed with “Smartphone Blindness”
I’ve written before about the importance of not using a smartphone (or other electronic devices) in bed at night because the blue light emitted from them can wreak havoc on your sleep pattern. But that’s not all that can happen from using your phone ‘inappropriately.’ Actually, you could even go blind (for a minute).

Texas Woman Undergoes Jaw Surgery, Wakes Up with British Accent
Lisa Alamia underwent jaw surgery for an overbite just before Christmas of 2015. But when the Texas-born and raised mother of three woke up, she had a British accent.
Her husband, Richard, noticed that his wife was sounding unlike her usual self and asked her doctor if the accent would go away. The doctor assured the couple that within a couple of weeks, she’d regain her normal speech patterns, but that didn’t happen. Lisa still speaks with an English accent that baffles many people where she lives.
Alamia says of the confusion she causes: -
