"Playful lemmings jumping off a cliff at a beach party" (art print available here; click to enlarge)by Gaius PubliusIs it possible that Clinton-endorsing superdelegates and other Democrats could be hurt in the general election by that endorsement? Current polling seems to suggest as much.
I am like everyone else... When that fraud FBI official James Comey, "cleared" psychotic demonic "Killary" Hillary Clinton of her "email scandals" that were most definitely treasonous acts against the American republic, I was shocked... But nothing has surprised me anymore, for the American democratic system is and has been broken now for years.... It is a dismal failure and has turned America into the laughing stock of the entire planet....
Dear American drivers, My heart goes out to you. You have a huge country, millions miles of road, no public transportation system to speak of, you drive since the age
Reports Chelsea Manning tried to commit suicide are still unconfirmed.
Exclusive: FBI Director Comey’s judgment that Hillary Clinton was “extremely careless” but not criminal in her sloppy email practices leaves her limping to the Democratic nomination and stumbling toward the fall campaign, writes Robert Parry. By Robert Parry Compared to Donald…Read more →
Dental fillings with stem cell technology have recently been announced by researchers, which could put an end to root canals forever. This technology allows to teeth to regenerate, building up new, healthy teeth.

The death toll from the horrific recent Iraq bombings has risen over 250. If Blair had not been absolutely determined to attack Iraq on the basis of a knowing lie about WMD, they would be alive now, along with millions of other dead. ISIS would never have taken control of territory in Iraq and Syria. Al Qaeda would never have grown from an organization of a few hundred to one of tens of thousands. We would not have a completely destabilized Middle East and a massive refugee crisis.
At this point I’d like to remind everyone that crime in the U.S. has been dropping since the 1990’s. So why has domestic police force militarization been growing exponentially since then? Ostensibly, it is for the “war on terror” and to keep us safe. In reality, we know this is bullshit. Just like the NSA’s unconstitutional spying hasn’t stopped a single terrorist attack, turning local cops into a domestic army hasn’t done a single thing to make us safe.

By Joseph Grosso | CounterPunch | July 6, 2016 An obvious and oft-sighted criticism of the Nobel Peace Prize is just how many of its recipients have virtually no connection to the cause of peace or its advancement. Sputnik | July 6, 2016 Like peace itself, the military-industrial complex sees internal stability as bad for business. A new report has exposed the activities of military and security companies that are profiting from the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, which have also successfully lobbied the EU to react by buying their security equipment. The joint report by the […]

Professional stock traders will tell you that the one thing they hate most in the world is a stable market. They make their money on market action, where up or down makes no difference, as they bet long or short depending on reading tea leaves.
