Updated! Pentagon Considers Launching Limited Military Action Against Syria?

ASHARQ AL-AWSATSpeaking of possibilities for false flags or covert ops?

"Washington- The Pentagon is considering carrying out limited attacks in Syria that don’t drag U.S. President Barack Obama to an embarrassing situation. Officials in the Pentagon and the White House told Asharq al-Awsat newspaper that these airstrikes will not be disclosed and the U.S. won’t claim them publicly."

Usually I don't bother with these types of claims but this report is worthy of exception. Why, you ask?   This is a very plausible scenario given the present day circumstances. Aleppo is pivotal. The US and terrorist company will do all it takes to impede or prevent it's return to Syria. Therefore, the US attacks, to advance the terrorist cause in Aleppo. There will be no claims of fog of war , our bad and oh we're so sorry, like the last hit on SAA September 17/2016- Killing more then 80. And injuring many more US Airstrikes Hit Syrian Arab Army to Support ISIS - Intentionally! 62 dead, 100's injured.  If the US were to take this type of action they will not acknowledge these strikes, that seems certain. As the UN Security Council vote is taking place might be an opportune time for the US to strike?  3:00 pm est time would be 10:00 pm Aleppo time. The way Israel conducts itself comes to mind right about now.....Update: Russia will introduce it's own resolution on Syria- In a clear tit for tat move designed to put the US on the spot.

The UN Security Council will vote Saturday on rival Syria resolutions sponsored by France and Russia and both are virtually certain to be vetoed, leaving the war-ravaged country and the besieged city of Aleppo engulfed in conflict and key powers deeply divided.

Russia's last minute introduction of a rival resolution on Friday afternoon took Western supporters of the French draft by surprise.

Several diplomats privately called it a brilliant move by Moscow because it will force Western powers to veto as well.

Taking Russia off the hot seat from a PR perspective.Recall from yesterday's post (second link below) Vitaly Churkin?/ Russian envoy: Real goal of UNSC resolution on Aleppo is to provoke Russia to veto it
