NATO Secretary General statement on Ukraine
I am closely monitoring the important developments in Ukraine. The people of Ukraine must determine their own future in freedom and democracy. I continue to call for calm and restraint, so that all sides can focus on pursuing the path of democracy, stability and prosperity through peaceful dialogue and early elections.

Kabul’s China-policy will not alter, irrespective of the political situation, said Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Saturday.
Karzai was hosting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi who arrived in Afghanistan on Saturday.
Wang said he made the visit in the crucial year of Afghanistan’s transition to underscore the importance of bilateral ties.
This morning a friend asked me if I was aware that Social Media could help radio programmers-- not to mention A&R executives and retailers-- determine which artists would make it big and which songs would be hits. Although they were talking specifically about the very formulaic and relatively simplistic country music genre, there's no reason why this report from Inside Radio couldn't be applied across the board to all genres of music.

Retired Pakistani General Hamid Gul says the United States and its allies are seeking to destroy Pakistan by fueling insecurity in the country.
The former head of Pakistan’s Intelligence Service (ISI) alleged that Washington used the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City as a pretext to invade the neighboring Afghanistan.
Sunday… Last day of the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, and time for much of the world to get back to the reality of the disintegration of our economies and much of our livelihood… And of course, time for my weekly rant…Again, it seems that I have been spending a lot of time going over the Sandy Hook fraud, and working at exposing the disinformation agents that have finally exposed themselves amongst our ranks… These are of course those who harp that many of us, including myself of course, are nothing more than "Cass Sunstein" agents, and working against the truth… But of course in reality it i

At least 53 people were killed and 65 more were wounded in today's attacks and clashes. The town of Saniya, in northern Iraq, was briefly held by militants last night. Also, the Iraqi army has suspended operations in Falluja until Tuesday.
TweetToday in Libya they arrested 5 people at the airport in Benghazi. They were carrying fake Libyan passports. These five men are Qatar citizens. Some if not all of them are Qatar intelligence. I have attached photos of the passports. One of the passports is dated to have been issued on a Friday – this would never ever happen in a Muslim country as their holy day always falls on Friday. These spies told the Libyans that the CIA issued them these fake passports during the NATO war in Libya in 2011.
You would never guess it from the U.S. media coverage but the U.S. is making its move against the people of Venezuela, doing all it can to incite and support a violent right-wing takeover of a legitimately elected government of the working masses. Sure, that's the kind of thing that scumbags like Nixon and Kissinger did. But Obama and Kerry? You bet your ass! You'd like the Obama Administration gets it's Venezuela policy direct from Fox-- or vice versa.
The new commander of the anti-Damascus militancy group, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), Abdul-Ilah al-Bashir has been trained in Israel, media reports said.
Al-Bashir had gone to Israel for treatment last year after he was wounded in Southern Syria during clashes with the Syrian army, Al-Ahd news website reported.
We are currently in a Depression. It has not hit us full force yet because we can print money to feed 48 million Americans on Food Stamps. I have previously said Depressions are caused by the accumulation of Unpayable Debts. Unpayable Debts are created because we allow bankers to charge us interest on money they create out of nothing. Depressions are periods of time when Unpayable Debts are cancelled en masse. I would prefer a systematic and worldwide Debt Cancellation over a 1930s style Great Depression which starved a minimum of 3 million Americans to death.

There is a mass movement across the country against foreign interference. This mass movement is not being reported by the Western media.
If you've been following along lately, you may have noticed that we've been pushing in a direction that diverges from what I like referring to as the two corrupt Beltway parties and reminding people that the lesser of two evils is still… evil. That has been manifesting itself as a lot of positive coverage of recovering-Democrat/now independent progressive Marianne Williamson in her CA-33 congressional race out in Santa Monica/Beverly Hills. I would never say anything negative about state Senator Ted Lieu and I imagine he and Marianne would vote pretty much identically.

For the past several years, we've been pointing out how Buck McKeon has a bunch of worthless relatives who work as lobbyists, where they can trade on his name for their personal enrichment. This week Legistorm.com released a list of congressmembers whose direct relatives are also lobbyists-- and McKeon was only the second worst.

New York state authorities are planning to step-up surveillance – this time, on school kids. The program, which is to be launched state-wide, is supposed to gather information on students starting from the age of five. And as RT’s Marina Portnaya reports, the move is finding little support among parents.

The Barack Obama administration’s insistence that Iran discuss its ballistic missile programme in the negotiations for a comprehensive nuclear agreement brings its position into line with that of Israel and senators who introduced legislation drafted by the pro-Israel lobby group AIPAC aimed at torpedoing the negotiations.
I've never been to Ukraine. My ancestors were from there-- Beyond the Pale, a phrase my grandfather never taught me but that Mick Jones of the Clash did; his ancestors were too. Last we checked in, the country was in turmoil and seemed headed right towards bloody civil war. Hundreds are already dead and thousands injured. Suddenly, this morning, things are looking up.
