RIA Novosti and Fox News both are running the story of how the Democrat Party of the United States of America is suing President Donald Trump’s campaign officials, the Russian government and WikiLeaks, with the accusation that these three entities were engaged in a conspiracy (RussiaGate) to help Donald Trump win
The Saker • Unz Review • April 20, 2018 Trump pulled the trigger, but instead of a “bang!” what the world heard was a demure “click”. Considering that we are talking about playing a most dangerous game of potentially nuclear Russian AngloZionist roulette, the “click” is very good news indeed. But, to use the words […]
(ZHE) — Did the Democrats’ “The Russians did it” narrative just jump the shark? The Washingtoin Post reports that The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump. The lawsuit alleges that […]

Obviously, special interest groups are the main culprits for why the progress with cannabis legislation has been a slow process. Hence, it’s a positive development to have former political leaders fighting on behalf of reforming marijuana laws, but it also shines a light on the unscrupulous nature of our political system.
RT | April 20, 2018 As the US is reviewing funding aimed at helping war-ravaged Syria rebuild, it’s not neglecting the White Helmets – a controversial militant-linked group instrumental to the media campaign against Assad and Russia. At a Thursday press briefing, journalists asked US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert for an update on the […]
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova TASS | April 19, 2018 MOSCOW – Britain may well be described as the holder of the world’s genocide record, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news briefing on Thursday in response to claims by UK ambassador in Moscow Laurie Bristow to the effect Russia was allegedly […]
I must apologize to my readership... I had promised that I would post up here at this blog all of the updates about what has been happening with Monika Schaefer and her ILLEGAL and unjust imprisonment in Germany the moment that they became available....I had received the following information about a week ago via email, and I failed to post up an article about this update back then.....
On Thursday, U.S. State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert was asked by CBS News reporter Kylie Atwood to comment on reports that U.S. ‘stabilization funding’ of the White Helmets is now on pause – an odd move for one of the group’s state-sponsored backers, and given they were just hosted and praised by the state department last month.

The trouble is she doesn’t seem to know what either of these words actually means. The article – headlined “Russia spread fake news via […]

Dear Colleague:
For some time now, Congress has abdicated its authority to declare war. The status quo is that we are at war anywhere and anytime the President says so.
So, Congress’s new solution is not to reassert Congressional prerogative but to codify the status quo.
Yesterday, I got this email in my inbox. I am reposting it with the permission of the author, removing his name The Saker ——- Hi Saker – For some time
As we explained about a week and a half ago, Kyle Frenette is the progressive Democrat running for the old Dave Obey seat in northern Wisconsin, currently occupied by Ryan ally Sean Duffy. Frenette is well known in the music industry as the manager of Eau Claire's Grammy-winning Justin Vernon and his band, Bon Iver.
For the past 30 years, I’ve been criticizing both the tax code and the IRS. Which raises an interesting chicken-or-egg question about who should be blamed for our nightmarish tax system.
Should we blame IRS bureaucrats, who have a dismal track record of abusing taxpayers? Or should we blame politicians, who have been making the tax code more onerous ever since that dark day in 1913 when the income tax was adopted?
By Jacob G. Hornberger | FFF | April 19, 2018 An article in Newsweek last November shows that the U.S. national-security establishment’s animus toward Russia is nothing new. It was the guiding light for the Pentagon and the CIA during the entire Cold War. Entitled “U.S. Government Planned False Flag Attacks to Start War with […]
RT | April 19, 2018 The UK’s behavior after the Skripal incident suggests that the attack was organized by the British spy agencies or was at least beneficial for them, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said. “It was highly likely that the false-flag incident with the poisoning of the Russian citizens in Salisbury […]
[audio mp3="https://www.corbettreport.com/mp3/episode335-lq.mp3"][/audio]When you hear the word "order" do you automatically think of government? What if I were to tell you there’s an entirely different conception of societal order, one that doesn’t revolve around hierarchy but in fact specifically refutes it? Well there is, and it’s called “spontaneous order.”
(MEE) — Israel’s culture minister said actor Natalie Portman had fallen “into the hands of the BDS supporters” after the Jerusalem-born actress cancelled her trip to Israel, where she was meant to receive the “Jewish Nobel” prize. Citing extreme distress at “recent events in Israel”, the Oscar-award winning actress was due to be the recipient of the […]
Statists are crafty. Most of them are clever enough that they don’t embrace full-scale socialism. Instead, they push for an ad hoc approach based on subsidies, bailouts, social engineering, price controls, and other forms of intervention.
If you want to get technical, they’re actually pushing a variant of fascism, with nominal private ownership but government direction and control.
But let’s avoid that loaded term and simply call it cronyism.

It is now confirmed…the entire US/UK/France attack on Syria over chemical weapons was based on social media. What a tragic joke and embarrassment for Trump/May/Macron.
U.S. Representative for Kentucky, Thomas Massie tweeted…
In briefing to Congress, DNI, SecDef, and SecState provided zero real evidence. Referenced info circulating online. Which means either they chose not to provide proof to Congress or they don’t have conclusive proof that Assad carried out gas attack. Either way, not good.
Now that you figured out the travel route for your next Europe trip, you'll notice that all of the European states have something in common: none of them have legalized marijuana.
A US military intelligence report leaked to the corporate media makes the claim that the April 14 missile strikes carried out by Washington in conjunction with both the UK and France have failed to destroy the Syrian government’s alleged chemical weapons capabilities. It makes the implicit case for more extensive and deadly raids that could trigger a military confrontation with[Read More...]

CNN, the world leader in hard hitting, real news (do you sense any irony?), has produced this stupendous report from a refugee camp in Northern Syria, with people it says “survived” the “chemical attack” in Douma earlier this month.
The US, Britain and France alleged Syrian President Bashar al-Assad pointlessly attacked his own people in Douma with sarin nerve agent, prompting the three nations to launch air strikes on Syria on the night of April 13-14th.
CNN correspondent Arwa Damon was at the camp to interview the “survivors” – as well as sample a little sarin herself.
Israel is presenting the idea that S-300's are headed to Syria as a reality. As if it's guaranteed. From what I've seen/read so far this is NOT the caseThat said Israel's claim gets me thinking about why Israeli talking heads may be presenting this transfer as a statement of fact? Is it because they need a pretext to move on Syria in a much more aggressive manner?Kremlin mum on Russia's possible deliveries of S-300 air defense systems to Syria
The DCCC has been recruiting-- not just supporting-- NRA allies. Jeff Van Drew (Blue Dog-NJ), Anthony Brindisi (Blue Dog-NY), Ann Kirkpatrick (New Dem-AZ), Lauren Baer (New Dem-FL) and Paul Davis (Blue Dog-KS) are all NRA/DCCC candidates. There are others in Congress already who have had long records backing the NRA and, of course, the DCCC backs them too-- from Henry Cuellar (Blue Dog-TX) to Darren Soto (New Dem-FL).
A US withdrawal would be presented as a fulfillment of President Trump’s pledge to end US involvement in foreign conflicts that don’t directly threaten America’s security. But in reality, nothing will change.
Why has the fact finding mission (FFM) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) not visited Douma?

If there were any justice, the leaders of the US, Britain and France should be facing prosecution in an international court for their aggression against Syria. The impunity must stop. Because when those who claim to uphold the law break the law, then there is no law.
Ladies and gentlemen, the main reason for being here tonight is to use, in our capacity as the Democracy in Europe Movement – DiEM25 -, to press whatever resources we have into the service of healing the rift between progressive Remainers and progressive Leavers. We have enough divisions in the UK, we have enough divisions in the EU, we do not need another one along the lines of Brexit. Yes, we at DiEM25 campaigned, along with Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell, Caroline Lucas and others for a radical remain. But I am not here, tonight, as a Remainer.
The sensational case of the poisoning of the ex-MI6 agent and former Russian military intelligence colonel Sergei Skripal on March 4 in Salisbury, in the UK, is becoming more and more curious. Under a blinding spotlight from Moscow, the British allegation regarding a Russian hand in the poisoning of Skripal is getting exposed. An engrossing plot in big-power politics is also unfolding. There is stuff here for a Le Carre novel.

Syria remains a key arena where one path or the other will be taken to finally wrap up what US Army Major Danny Sjursen calls “Operation Flailing Empire.” The irony is that peacefully “losing” our pointless and dangerous attempt to rule the world would only be to Americans’ benefit.
With all the Syria and Skripal goings-on, you may have missed this one, and it's a biggie. This article was brought to my attention…

There are two great moral and ethical issues confronting and dividing Americans, abortion and migration. Life, in its normally perverse way, offers a solution for both with a common theme, that is overlooked or ignored because people have such strong and often emotional opinions about each. It is unlikely they would entertain one being a […]

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Russian news, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed the possibility of a direct military confrontation between the USA and the Russian Federation, and why he believes that the presidents of these nations, Russia and the United States, will not allow such a conflict to materialize:
In a time when such revelations as those of Edward Snowden pass a person’s lips with ease and awareness, political clamouring for action and measures against Russia on the subject of cyber attack seem risible. This is not to say that Russia does not engage in an energetic, state of the art program of surveillance and penetration. More significant is[Read More...]
